The Casentino offers something for every taste: Medieval castles, spiritual monasteries (Camaldoli and La Verna , about 35km), nice hill towns like Bibbiena and Poppi (15-20 km); churches and museums; stroll around Arezzo especially when the big antiques market takes place there on the first weekend of every month - (25 km); Siena and Florence (90 km) can be reached within an hour's drive; at Capolona (6 km) you will find shops of all kinds, trattorias, bars, and a colourful weekly market.
