I knew we were in for a treat from my initial communications with Whitney. Her quick and thorough responses to all my questions set the tone from day one. When we arrived at the house, everyone was blown away. The beautiful pictures online didn't even do it justice. With 11 of us ranging in age from 4 months to 69 years, there was room for everyone to relax and enjoy our time together. Details like three full and fully stocked bathrooms, beautiful linens and towels, six comfortable bedrooms, a kitchen with everything anyone could ask for, all our baby needs, and a well-equipped laundry room, made for a very comfortable week. Everyone loved the little sitting area in the kitchen and having tables on the deck and in the dining room that could accommodate everyone. The separately fenced and gated pool put us at ease with kids 6 and under wandering around and the shaded gazebo was a perfect place to enjoy watching the littles play in the pool. We even used the fire pit one night and shared s'mores as the sun set. When I had questions about a couple of minor things, Whitney answered my queries as quickly as she had before we arrived. She even preemptively warned us that if the propane tank ran out we could find a full one in the shed. With trails through the nature conservancy just down the road and the bike trail and miniature golf just a short ride away, everyone found their rhythm. I can't recommend this property highly enough - a 5* property with a 5* host!
First, I never do reviews good or bad. However, 11 of us stayed here this past week for a family gathering and everything was beyond great. We were all impressed. The house was immaculate and looked brand new. There was tons of space for everyone to gather or have their own quiet time when needed. The yard is huge and wiffle ball games where plentiful. Whitney, the host, gave clear instructions on where everything was and was very quick to respond to questions. The house had everything you needed from the massive amount of kitchen supplies, the pool toys, games, books and towels. One example that impressed me: I have rented many places with gas grills and they are ALWAYS out of gas. The owner usually just says where to fill it in town on your own dime. I had steaks purchased ready to go with 10 hungry people and the tank was empty. I texted Whitney and she responded in 5 minutes saying "There is another full tank in the shed for you". I will stay here again the next time we are in town. Thanks Whitney - your the best.
