Beautiful building. Spa and thermal suite was lovely .gym well equipped, great that you can use all after check out. Reception and breakfast staff were amazing but let down on Bar staff and some staff in Cedars restaurant. Waiting about 30 mins to get serviced a drink, if you go up to the drink you're totally ignored. Many people at other tables had the same experience. Restaurant staff and Bar staff very slow, Service was a little chaotic.Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Food was nice with very tasty Desserts. Breakfast is self service with lots of options with some made to order items.

Have been here several times now and always find the hotel and facilities to be excellent. This time we were staying in an accessible room and I found the bed to be very firm. Pillows also firm. Uncomfortable two nights sleep. Pillows would need to be renewed and a nice pillow - top mattress topper would would be ideal. For an accessible room, comfort is a priority. There also needs to be a low towel rail fitted in the bathroom. Will not put me off going back to the property as everything else is excellent. Would recommend for a quiet break away.

Excellent from start to finish. Delighted we were given a complimentary room upgrade at check-in. All the staff we encountered were exceptional including check-in & out ,bars ,breakfast room & Cedars Steakhouse. George the groundsman was super friendly and gave advice on the walks & estate facilities. Food in Cedars was exceptional and breakfast was first class. Our daughter & son-in-law were so impressed by what we told them they have booked 2 nts in Farnham later in October also.

cons first- For the price you pay for somewhere as beautiful as Farnham you expect upkeep to be better. The spa looks a little run down. Big scrapes on the wall. Bare nails and hooks. It was also really cold. We weren’t the only couple with this complaint. Everyone was lying with dressing gowns and towels wrapped around them. The cedar restaurant was also too cold. I don’t like the heat at all but when you’re wearing a full coat for dinner maybe it’s time to turn the heating on. We spent nearly €200 on dinner and left asap to go warm up. Now the pros- the staff are so lovely. Breakfast is delicious. Actually all of our food was yummy. Despite it being cold the cedar restaurants food was ridiculously good. That steak was unreal. Everywhere was lovely and clean. You know when the toilets are nice and clean you have nothing to worry about. We booked a massage and it was really relaxing. The gardens are just a treat. The amenities in the room was really great. Bed was so comfortable. The girls who cleaned the rooms done a great job. They worked so hard and were lovely.

Fabulous Farnham

From a very friendly & welcoming check-in, to a lovely room with good views to the excellent spa & gym facilities. Restaurants & bars are also very good, food was great with a wide variety to suit all tastes.
