Bienvenue dans la maison de la riviĂšre Day's Away, situĂ©e sur la magnifique riviĂšre Guadalupe Ă  Center Point, au Texas. Center Point est situĂ© Ă  mi-chemin entre Comfort et Kerrville et Ă  mi-chemin entre Bandera et Fredericksburg, Ă  seulement 50 minutes de San Antonio et Ă  environ 30 minutes de Hunt, Texas. L'eau est profonde et la riviĂšre est large Ă  notre retraite Ă  couper le souffle demi-acre. Vous pouvez barbecue, nager, tube, canoĂ«, pĂȘcher ou simplement vous dĂ©tendre au bord de l'eau. Il y a une magnifique terrasse qui traverse tout l'arriĂšre de la maison qui est couverte. L'endroit idĂ©al pour voir la riviĂšre et regarder vos enfants rebondir sur le trampoline, nager ou sauter du quai dans la riviĂšre. Nous avons Ă©galement une balançoire et une glissade dans la riviĂšre. N'oubliez pas d'amener les guimauves Ă  rĂŽtir au-dessus du foyer intĂ©grĂ© sur nos grandes terrasses de dalles Ă  2 niveaux au bord de l'eau. Bar-b-que fosses de gaz et de charbon de bois aussi.

Notre précieuse maison est entiÚrement équipée pour offrir de merveilleuses vacances que vous n'oublierez jamais! *** La maison principale dispose de 3 chambres et 1 salle de bain avec double vasque (8 couchages). La chambre principale a un lit king size. La chambre a un lit queen size. La troisiÚme chambre a un lit double et un ensemble de lits superposés. Il y a 2 pack-n-play pour les petits.

Nous avons également une cabine détachée *** en option *** avec salle de bain disponible (4 couchages de plus). Notre cabine individuelle est située juste à cÎté de la maison principale et dispose d'un lit queen et d'un matelas queen dans le grenier. Kitchenette avec cafetiÚre, micro-ondes et petit réfrigérateur. TV avec satellite, DVD et magnétoscope. *** Nous louons uniquement la cabine comme complément à la maison principale, veuillez nous contacter pour plus de détails.

We were scheduled to stay there starting July 7th but due to the tragic flooding on July 4th, we were unable to visit the property. Becky was very kind and understanding and allowed a refund for our stay. We're going to give it a little time and try to rebook what looks like a fantastic property to visit.

We just returned from a truly unforgettable weekend at this beautiful river home. It was the perfect setting for a girls’ trip with lifelong friends all of us now in our 50s, reconnecting and relaxing together. The house was spotless, cozy, and clearly cared for with love and attention.The hosts went above and beyond to get everything ready for us after recent flooding in the area. Though the surrounding community experienced devastating loss, their home was safe and welcoming, and we’re so grateful for the chance to stay there. The resilience and warmth of the people in Center Point were incredibly moving we were touched by the community’s spirit and ongoing volunteer efforts.We especially loved the access to the Guadalupe River and the kayaks they provided. it was peaceful and absolutely beautiful. We felt truly spoiled!If you’re looking for a serene getaway with heart, hospitality, and riverfront beauty, this is the place. Highly recommend, we’ll be talking about this trip for a long time.

We did have a wonderful relaxing stay on the Guadalupe river. I was just surprised when I found that the reservation does not include the small cabin that is shown in the pictures on VRBO. I actually had to pay extra after paying for the initial rental. Beautiful home! Wonderful owner, will stay again!

Nice & peaceful getaway

This is our 2nd time staying here. We noticed another bathroom was added which came in handy and the kitchen was also remodeled! It’s nice and quiet and we enjoyed our stay! Very spacious yard and well kept backyard. The only thing I would suggest would be maybe adding an extra double kayak.

Hidden Gem

We completely fell in love with Days Away! It was perfect for floating and relaxing. We didn’t have to leave to float, and it was so much better to tie up to the dock. House was as listed and there was a kayak and canoe for us to use. We will definitely come back!

We had a family group of 5 including 4 seniors and one adult. The house is laid out great and so many outdoor spaces to enjoy! The kayaking up the river was amazing! The house was in the perfect location for visiting Fredericksburg, kerrville and Bandera. Wonderful place!

Spring relief

We enjoyed our visit so much! I was so relieved the river was flowing enough to enjoy the canoe and kayaks. Due to the location of the property on the river, it looks like that is not a problem even during drought conditions. Everyone got to take turns and enjoy the chilly, but beautiful water. We arrived on the winds of the March 14th storm, and although it was very breezy, we were still able to enjoy our entire weekend. The house accommodated us well and the kitchen was perfect for preparing large breakfasts and cookouts. There is a public river entry across the river. We enjoyed people watching and the local ducks and goose were eager to greet everyone. Very relaxing and felt very safe. Travel to other cities and attractions was easy. We have already recommended this property to another family friend.

Great outdoor space

We really enjoyed our stay. With the extra cabin, it was perfect for our group which included 3 families with teenagers, in town for a livestock show. The bedrooms are small, and the bathroom in the extra cabin is not the best, but it's as shown in the photos. However, the outdoor space was awesome, with lots of seating, fire pit, and canoe/kayaks. I do wish that trash bags were provided, but otherwise it had everything we needed.

We have a true blast! The house is very clean, the beds are comfortable and the property is well maintain. The only thing that was different is in the description it said the property had a trampoline and it didn’t but we had plenty to do without it.
