The location is fantastic and walkable everywhere! Once the construction in the area ends it will be even easier. Unit was clean and check in and out were easy! Only small challenge was the noise level at night in the front bedroom but the provided sound machine helped.
We loved our stay here. The space is nicely decorated and comfortable, and within walking distance to King Street, the waterfront and so much more. The construction noise has been mentioned in other reviews, but it was manageable. Would stay here again!
This property had everything we needed for a quick 2 night stay. It's also an easy walk to the free bus route so we didn't have to drive much. Communication was also very easy.
We enjoyed our stay. It helped that we love to walk to everythingâ no way were we fetting the car out if we did not have to! Charleston is a great city!
The property was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and comfortable. The set up worked well for our family. Short walk to King Street. Parking was an added bonus, with narrow driveway as described in the post. We would choose to stay here again if we returned to Charleston.
This was the perfect little place for a getaway to Charleston! It was exactly as described, decorated very cute, and equipped with the perfect amount of amenities. Our only complaint was that there was quite a bit of construction across the street and the driveway to get to the parking in the back is EXTREMELY narrow, but fine for small cars.
The house was nice and we enjoyed the place. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. There is construction around but that is expected when the city is trying to revive certain areas. The parking was tight but manageable. We would stay here again.
Loved this property. It was clean, comfortable, and a convenient location. Parking here is tight (which is made clear in the description and communication) but we rented a Nissan rogue and had no problems getting in and out. Having parking right there is a huge bonus. We had a great time. 100% recommend.
This property was a perfect fit for us. We were staying there for a wedding at Lowndes Grove. It was the perfect distance. We loved walking King street. There was a perfect spot to take the dog for potty breaks. I was worried my expedition Max wouldnât fit behind the house. It actually did fit.
All and all great spot will definitely be staying again.
We enjoyed our stay in this quaint apartment! Very cutely decorated and had all the supplies we needed. Communication with management was perfect. They even reached out to make sure everything went smooth with check in. Only 1 block from the end of King Street. One thing to note it is in a neighborhood with a lot of construction and renovation so in a couple of years it will be even better!
Was a cute apartment very walkable to King Street. All Appliances worked well and place was very clean. It was nice to include parking, however, the parking was very tight, owner probably should advertise compact vehicles only in the listing as we were very close trying to park with our Honda Civic. Good thing I inquired about parking before booking or else I would have had to park off property.
Overall, this was a great VRBO and the host was very responsive. Details that detracted from the visit included things like: two wine glasses in the home that sleeps 7-8 people, broken dishwasher top rack, no coffee filters (but complimentary ground coffee), clogged bathroom sink, and the fact that the house is located in the midst of a construction zone and we had to deal with construction noise during the day. These were all pretty minor issues and the host responded in a way that we were satisfied with but some guests may have found these things to be more problematic than a minor nuisance. We walked everywhere and enjoyed the beautiful fall weather.
Check in and communication were very good. Unit had a number of issues- mostly minor, but still annoying. One kitchen cabinet hanging loose. Bunk bed was very rickety, to the extent an 8 yo was worried about it falling on her brother in the lower bunk. Toilet seats loose. Cracked champagne flutes. 13 coffee cups and 2 wine glasses for 3 adults. Parking was very tight, but got a VW Atlas into the 2 allotted spots. Bachelorette party downstairs apparently doing shots until 1am.
Manager was nice and said she would have tech look at issues.
