Clean, well designed, well appointed kitchen. We ordered in Thanksgiving from Mercantile & Mash (Excellent) and there was plenty of kitchenware, serveware and barware for our family of six. Excellent.Definitely some maintenance issues that need to be addressed particularly with doors not closing.Otherwise, ideal location, great space for a family.
The place looks just like the pictures and is in a cute neighborhood. Itâs close to plenty of restaurants and shops. We walked a lot down king st. Towards the water. If walking isnât your thing then you can do quick uber rides. I would stay here again and recommend it to others .
We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO! Our group included five adults and two children under two, and the space was perfect for everyone. The location is fantasticâconvenient and easy to explore. The host was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in early once the room was ready, and granting us a late check-out until noon, which made a big difference with our young children.Even though it was New Yearâs Eve, we had no issues with noise, despite the apartment being situated above a charming restaurant. The restaurant itself looked inviting, and we wish we had had time to dine thereâit seemed like it would have been a lovely experience. The apartment itself was spacious and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly appreciated how thoughtful and responsive the host was throughout our time there. Highly recommend this property!
We LOVED this property and location. So close to everything we wanted to do while also not being totally surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the city. The home was so spacious and perfect for our small group. Check-in and check-out couldn't have been any easier. We had everything we needed! Whenever we return to Charleston, we will definitely be looking here first!
Although hiking up the stairs w suitcases can be a challenge and the supplied parking is located what often seems a rather long block away, this modern-themed Cannonborough Elliotborough apartment is quite comfortable, offers a huge amount of space nicely suitable for a sizable family or a group of friends/couples. Location couldn't be better if you're into hip, gourmet restos and easy walks to most downtown attractions in one of America's most walkable cities. And they accepted our pet! - which is not always easy to find.
Had a bachelorette party in Charleston, the house was great! Surrounding area isnât all that nice but with a group felt safe walking home from King St. Property Management is pretty awful though. Never received any information regarding check in, had to call the owner of the home to get any information or instructions.
Vacation Rental should have a working ice maker. It did not.
Broken freezer was left with old fashioned ice trays. Really? For the cost of staying there, that should be a given. Had to call property manager to bring ice. They blamed the owners first, not the best way to handle a problem.
Upstairs bedrooms were a hazard for adults. Slanted ceilings over the two sinks, could barely use them. Had to crouch down to use the bedrooms and had several head bumps.. Pictures are misleading. They also do not show the TWO steep staircases which are difficult for luggage at the very least.
Perfect spot for a group of 6 to 8, relatively centrally located (we ended up taking 5-10 min ubers everywhere or walking 30-40 min to all the action), super clean home and management was very easily available with any questions and willing to work with us for things like an earlier check in, later check out, etc.
We came to spend the weekend to celebrate my friendâs upcoming wedding. The property management company was very responsive and communicative and easy to work with. The place itself was clean and very cute. The only thing I think would help improve the place is if they added a towel bar to the main floor powder room, there was literally nothing with which to dry your hands. Otherwise a fantastic stay and highly recommend!
The home was nice and beds were comfortable. The downstairs room is a little loud at night if people were out and about late. A fan would help. The faucet in that room was low on pressure and had trouble getting warm. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and the home was very nice.
The blinds in the bathroom had a think layer of dust, the floor had a hole in it which they covered up with a rug. There was dog food on the floor in the corner of the dining room. The water pressure was very low so trying to wash my hair took forever! The beds and linen were clean but they definitely did not do a good job cleaning that place!!!!
41 Bogard Street, Unit B is a location NOT to be missed!
Do you have kids? If so, this location Is in an awesome neighborhood. Kids (or no kids) you are still just a quick walk to the middle of King Street! Always something to do or taste. Itâs impossible to find a bad meal. Some of my favorites include: El JeFe, Eleve, Republic, Dwells, Halls, Carmelaâs, Virginiaâs...just to name a few. CHS is the place to be and 41 Bogard Init B is the place to stay!
