Huge safety concerns

We made the decision to depart our trip early because the elevators did not work. This was a huge safety concern for us. My husband has mobility issues so taking the stairs was not an option. I was shocked that we were not offered a partial refund for the danger this situation created to all occupants of the hotel.

Bathtub did not drain properly and the water soaked into the carpet in the next room! Maintenance came and we got “downgraded” to another room. Since we booked with Expedia they were unable to give us any type of discount plus they charge $15 for parking and wifi is not free. Also, no hottub on site like the photos imply. Will not be staying here again.

Valet needs reoganizing

The Valet service needs work. It is too congested. People trying to check in and those trying to get their car or park their car was cumbersome. The Valet service needs to be moved to the side. Let the front be for checking in. Then when you need your car go to the side where the other sliding doors are. Unless you like elavator noise don't get on the top floor outside the elavotors. You can here them in the back going up and down. Otherwise, it was a nice stay. Staff are very friendly.

The area around the property looked industrial. Self parking was a city block away in a parking garage and cost $15/night. About a brisk 3 minute walk. Valet was $24/night. Slow drain in the sink and lights out around the mirror were fixed when reported. The hamburger in their restaurant was very good, but you could not charge that to your room.

Great breakfast--omelet station and the rest of the included breakfast was terrific. Parking was a bit pricey. Elevators were not reliable (2 of the 3 were down at various points) making the trek up and down the stairs to the top floor frustrating.

Not Worth the Expense

Hotel lobby wasn't clean, our room had broken potatoes chips in the floor. Check-in lines were long, not enough front staff. Shower door was installed so that to reach the facet to turn it on you got soaked with cold water. Only had one elevator operating at peak times, long lines to get on the elevator.

Dirty room and bathtub full of rust! Elevators were out of order every single day. If they worked, it was for only a few hours. Crazy! Waiting for the one elevator 20 plus minutes each time. If using stairs, you couldn’t go all the way up…it was roped off. Total fire hazard! Cut electrical wires were left in front of my room door. Seriously? The worst hotel stay ever! The diner waitress was great. The parking valet people were fantastic, front desk meh! Very, very disappointing.

The hotel was very nice. Quiet, clean, comfortable. Love the 2 rooms concept. Pool and exercise room were nice. The only problem was that the 3 elevators they have only one or two would work at a time. Very annoying and wait times were up to 10 minutes before you were able to get on an elevator. The perks were nice. Breakfast included and an evening snack and drink time. Overall I would recommend especially if you are going to a concert at the civic center as it’s an easy walk away.
