This was an excellent base for our three day stay in Charleston, an easy walk to fine dining and the historic sites of Charleston. It was a comfortable place to stay and the kitchen was well equipped. Rooms were fine, very nice bathrooms as well. Communication with property manager was great. Having off street parking was also very useful.
This was a great house for our family. Plenty of room for everyone to relax after long days of sightseeing and tours. The location was excellent and we were in walking distance of several restaurants, shops and King Street. We were really happy to have the off street parking after seeing how crowded and limited street parking is.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Guesthouse. 5 of us stayed comfortably. My parents were in the main floor bedroom, and my teens and I stayed upstairs. We have enough personal space. The neighborhood is walkable and safe. We enjoyed a lot of quiet time because our stay was during the week instead of the weekend. Definitely plan to return. Great 1st trip to Charleston!
Great house within two blocks of King Street. House was very clean and beds were comfortable. Very convenient location to everywhere. House was very inviting, well furnished and had everything you need. Nice area and parking next to house. We would recommend this house to all. Until next time!
I want to thank staff for addressing all are issues in a very timely manner. This could be a great home with a few changes that have all been mentioned in previous reviews but never addressed. The sofa needs cleaning badly which was mentioned previously but they said staff never mentioned it. It was mentioned previously but never completed. They offered to steam clean sofa but we had no where to sit while sofa dries. Bedroom curtains are white and sun shines in early morning. Home next door is owned by same company and empty the 2 weeks we were there and all lights are left on and light over stairs which has no curtain shines in bedroom at night. No screens on windows. If lamp in living room is on at night you can see into home. Trouble with internet because one modem is used for several homes. When we left they were moving modem from another home to home next to us. We were compensated for issues and greatly appreciate it, but I have been renting VRBOâs for 30 years and never had so many issues that are easily fixable.
Check in and out was easy. The unit worked fine for our short stay and not spending much time there other than to sleep. The beds were comfortable. Itâs small, but we didnât need a lot of space for the few days we were there. The internet didnât work the entire stay. The response when I reached out about it was quick and assured me it would be fixed soon, but it never got fixed over our entire 4 day stay. I didnât follow up after the first request because I had better ways to spend my time. The posting indicates that there are noise makers in every bedroom, but there arenât. Neighbors were a bit noisy late at night. Not having them isnât a big deal except that since it was advertised, I didnât bring my own. I wonât make that mistake again.
The property was in a good location for walking either to the bus stop or to the visitor center to get around Charleston. We really enjoyed the house and when we had a small problem with the tv, the staff was cordial and prompt.
This property was exactly what we needed for a weekend in Charelston. It was clean, walking distance to King Street & a short drive from many of the attractions (pineapple fountain, rainbow row, etc). The hosts were very responsive and the place was exactly as described. Would recommend!
Well laid out property that worked well for everyone from grandparents to little kids. Easy to walk everywhere and loved the recommendations provided, including Island Provisions.
Bathroom shower drains were slow but not unmanageable.
Loved the location as it was walkable to many restaurants and bars. Some issues with others taking parking spots. Clean and modern. Easy to communicate with property owner.
Charleston is a special place for us. This property was a quiet and private in a great location. Plenty of space for the 4 adults.Walkable or a Short Uber ride to most anywhere and day trip to Sullivanâs Island was under half an hour drive. Well stocked as advertised and exceptionally clean. Check in and out easy and well communicated. Our family has been coming to Charleston for over 30 years and this was one of our best trips ever. Very pleasant experience with this property.
We had the best girls trip! The house was cute, clean and close to the action on King Street. The property management group gave us lots of great information, suggestions and promptly answered all our many questions about activities and sites we were looking into. The locals were very friendly and everyone we met were so nice. We had the best girls trip and made a lifetime of memories.
This property was clean, safe and in a great location a few minute walk away from King Street. The host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating! I would highly recommend
This was a great stay for our first time visit to Charleston! Perfect location that is super walkable yet quiet! House was cute and clean and communication was prompt and responsive overall.
Location was perfect, especially having a parking place. Walking distance to grocery store, Holy Bagels and restaurants like Ladles, Sugar Bake Shop and Chubby Fish. Parking around city was hard to find and expensive ($34 for 4 hours), so we Ubered the six of usâŠ..very quick, and much less than parking. Very nice VRBO, and manager, Kerri, was outstanding!!
The house was clean, well located and very nice. The only drawback was the directions from VRBO that took us to the wrong address. Upon looking around and through a fence we could see this house. It was easy enough to drive around the block to the correct house.
