Location, modern updates, communication w/the manager, and the pool made this an excellent place for my family and I to stay. Loved the neighborhood, with its young energy and eclectic vibe in restaurants and boutiques, and not far from the northern side of King St.
The house was great and the location was wonderful. Walking distance to everything. Interaction with the host was also great. The house was a quaint, little house. Some feedback we would love to provide:- parking. Only 1 spot allowed for a house that sleeps 7. It was almost impossible to get in and out of the driveway and the neighbor was not friendly. The house offers 2 street parking passes, but again⊠you have to find an actual spot close by for all your luggage youâre trying to take in and out. - linens. Zero extra linens/towels provided. Would have been so nice to have an extra sheet set in case of emergency or even just some blankets around house. (Laundry pods were provided which were nice, but no one wants to do laundry in the middle of the night if an emergency happens). - No ice maker in freezer. 2 ice trays were found in cabinet which leaked.
Thanks so much! We had a great stay. The location was perfect and easy to walk around, and we were even able to find street parking for our big truck. Cute accommodations.
This place is located really close to most Charleston attractions. It was a pretty home, with a private pool, which was the highlight. The water was kept warm, even in November. This is very different from the cookie cutter cabins, and condos. Parking was a little tricky, due to the compact space, but street passes were provided. All in all, we got to stay in a very clean, pretty and unique property.
Great place for a quick stay - very clean and comfortable. The pool was a great size for a small crew and easy for the kids to play in as well. Island style bar very comfortable with fully equipped kitchen. Property is small but conveniently located downtown. Parking is really, really tight and not easy to get in and out of - NOT recommended for larger vehicles - we struggled to get out with a Honda Accord. We reported a small concern with the property and the company has been very quick to respond and ensure that an inspection has been scheduled. There is a camera on the back deck of the pool which is kind of creepy and should be disclosed (although we do understand it is legal, it still feels icky.)
Very close to King Street. Never felt unsafe. Easy walk to lots of local shops and eateries. Property itself is a master class in tiny home design. If you have a large SUV, parking in the designated spot in front of the home will be challenging. Management does provide car passes for street parking, but you may have a bit of a walk to find a spot. Management was quick to respond to our concerns. Storage is a challenge- no closets in the home for renter use, and first floor room does not have a dresser or other place for storage. There is construction currently ongoing about two houses over on an adjacent lot. For the overall value, I believe this property is overpriced compared to others in the area. While the others might not have a pool, this is a negligible perk as the pool is quite small with hours restrictions and no privacy as the adjacent property windows overlook the pool/rear space.
Impeccably clean. The linens smelled so fresh. Quite possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Proper pillows and blankets- nothing like IKEA specials so many rentals have. The layout was TIGHT- with three adults we were squeezed in the common area. The outside seating area is not great. We would have loved a couch to lounge on, given we spent most of the time outside. Chairs are hard and uncomfortable. Also the chlorine in pool is INSANE. Do not get your hair wet. A pair of blue shorts was blown in and left unnoticed for a few hours. The chlorine bleached them white.Air conditioning was much too high at night- cranking 65 degrees. I needed blankets and was shivering each time I got out of the shower.Location is perfect. We walked to everything. I would absolutely stay again.
The best part of this stay is the communication with the management company. They are SUPER responsive and very helpful! Pool was nice addition for the evenings after you have done everything for the day. I would definitely stay here again.
Fabulous home in Charleston - a beautiful and updated residence with a fun pool for cooling off. The house is situated in an excellent neighborhood for walking, and numerous restaurants are within walking distance. I enjoyed the nearby bagel shops and walking the dog while looking at lovely historic homes.
The home was immaculate! Stayed for a week with family and enjoyed the ease of walking to all the restaurants and shopping. All positive and agree with all the others about parking. Just use the on street parking passes as it is very difficult to park in designated spots by house. Truly enjoyed sitting by the pool with coffee each day and a glass of wine at night! Such an added bonus.
Perfect for our needs- spacious, clean, quiet and great location. Being from up north, we loved the pool and enjoying the outdoor space in the evening. Sadly, the motion lights took away from the relaxed vibe. That would be the only suggestion to change!
This house was perfect! The beds were very comfortable and the place was so clean. The host leaves enough products to wash dishes and laundry, which is nice for longer stays.
Very nice getaway. House was in a great location and very clean. Only comment is that parking was difficult in the assigned space, but easy on the street.
Unique property 3 bedrooms and baths with pool. Comfortable beds and baths. Tiny living room with uncomfortable sofa. Pool was heated but not enough for 45 degree nights and 65 degree days. 20 minute Uber ride to the main sites. Probably best for family with teens.
It was perfection for six women! 2 people per bathroom is hard to find. It was so cute, decorated adorably, and had a great set up for lounging and hanging out. Hosts were ontop of their communication game. I never had to contact them because what they emailed had all the information necessary for our stay!! Book this location if you get a chance!!
A great house, close to many places, whether walking or driving. The house was very clean, easy check in, plenty of places to eat and shop. Although the weather was on the chilly side, the pool was still put to use. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you! đ
