We were greeted with roaches and the entire hotel smelling like weed. The staff were unprofessional and rude. The toilet and the sink wouldn't drain. The sink had not been cleaned of some food from the previous occupant.
The staff in the breakfast area were SO nice... but they didn't have what they needed to put out- not because of their own doing.
The smoke detectors were chirping in the hallways- annoying but fine.
The door keys would only work for a day even though we were there multiple days, and our rooms all needed rekeying. It was a bed, the kitchenette is a nice perk, but I wouldn't stay again.
While the reviews arent far off, it still isnt the absolute worst place.
Cons:
- Less then present staff. Only in the first night when i checked in did i see someone behind the counter. I went downstairs to ask for some more towels. But ended up standing around for a few minutes calling out.
- cleanliness was okay. There was water damage around the bottom of the sink and some dust around the edges of the room but i didnt see any mold when i looked around.
- The rule regarding only bringing in service animals doesnt really apply it seems. There were several dogs which were more then likely not service related which would bark throughout the night.
- Noisy neighbors partying throughout the night.
- Less then desirable area. It is a sketchy place to get to and to park. As well as a few homless people who like to gather around that area at night.
- Lackluster security. I didnt see a single security camera when i looked around. Which wouldn't be as much of a problem, if the night shift wasnt missing.
Pros:
- It was moderately priced. It was still a bit much for how the accommodations were lacking.
- Being in the city wasnt terrible. But the other people driving are not the friendly.
The room had a smell but it was from the drain. The AC from the room above me was leaking into my room but I was ok. Overall the stay was good since it was a solo stay.
