We really enjoyed our weekend in Charleston. This location is on a quiet street in a courtyard in very close walking distance to King Street with many bars and restaurants. House was clean beautifully designed, and we loved the porch and rocking chairs. The host was transparent in letting us know that that a large construction project was going on across the street. We were mostly there on the weekend so it didnât bother us, but it was quite loud on Monday. I would just plan ahead while the construction is still going on and be busy during the weekdays the construction noise was about 7:45 AM through 4:30 PM.
Place was perfect. Lots of space, nicely decorated, beds were very comfortable, towels & sheets nice quality, great layout, good location for us. We will definitely return.
The host was amazing. Due to a snowstorm in Dallas, we had to reschedule flights and extend our stay two extra days. The process was prompt and seamlessâand a lifesaver. Thank you! This is also our new favorite neighborhood in Charleston.
Great house with well-equipped kitchen in terms of pots and pans and cooking utensils. Convenient to everything in Old Charleston. A larger dishwasher would have been helpful to avoid doing dishes daily.
My entire family of five ( including 3 children 5-11) loved this property. Especially the Piazza with the Rocking chairs, it's where we spent our evenings. The Beds were amazingly comfortable and there was the perfect amount of closet space to store suitcases. Parking was not for the faint at heart as we had a van but we were able to maneuver the space with some tenacity. Having the parking was beautiful but a smaller car would have been a little less nerve wracking. The kitchen was fully stocked and the towel service was wonderful. The interior was beautifully decorated, eclectic and comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again as it was close to all of the activities we had planned....(International African American Museum, The Aquarium, carriage rides and boat tours, USS Yorktown). The distance to Folly Beach was great, however you would need to already have beach towels which is difficult when you fly in, so having the option for a beach towel service would have been awesome. The neighborhood is very walkable, and there is a great coffee shop colocated in the properties courtyard. Safe place as we walked to various locations even later in the evening. The Internet had great connection with the multiple router/repeaters throughout the house that my husband and I were able to get through a few teams/zoom meetings without interruption. Overall the property and our trip was a 10/10.
Lovely property in a great location. Steep stairs leading to entrance, and steep stairs from main level to second floor. A full length mirror somewhere in the home would be a plus.
This house on paper and the surface is beautiful, it looks just like the pictures. It was clean except we had a horrible odor at the top of the staircase. I bought air freshners and that still didn't help. Maintenance had no solution.
Please be advised this 4 bedroom house has one parking space and nearby street parking is limited. That should be listed so people can make an informed decision.
The biggest issue is the lack of hot water. I had to take a cold shower the morning of my father's funeral, that is just unacceptable. The unit has a tankless water heater which clearly can't support a 3 bathroom house. You have to turn the knob all the way to the wall, run it for 5 minutes just to get warm water. I contacted the property management company and they sent me this text message "Hello. I'm so sorry about the issues you're having with the water heater. It appears the tankless is having trouble keeping up when multiple faucets are running at once. Our maintenance manager suggested limiting the use of two faucets using hot water at a time to have adequate hot water. Please keep us posted if that doesn't solve the problem. Again, my apologies for the inconvenience." We weren't even using multiple faucets at once, and that response is just unacceptable, of course we called back and someone came out....no real fix.
We had 4 adults and 3 kids staying there. Plenty of space, but no hot water and lack of easy parking was frustrating.
We loved the home - it was beautiful, comfortable, spacious and had everything we could want to enjoy our stay. The location was perfect - a great little neighborhood, which wasnât too busy or noisy and only a few minutes away from the downtown area.
The property was beautiful and exceeded our expectations in every way. The furnishings are lovely and very comfortable. The kitchen is open to main living area and is well equipped with great appliances and plenty of serving ware. The location is perfect and convenient to everything and quiet. Parking was easy. Just a great experience. Thank you!
This unit had the ambience of Charleston- just what we were looking for. Plenty of room for everyone and so clean. Concierge was very helpful. Enjoyed it very much.
