Extremely clean and very well located. We walked everywhere and felt very safe. Minimal items in kitchen...so bring own water and necessities. Bathroom well stocked with toiletries. Very cute place with little outdoor sitting area. Dog friendly.
Great location within walking distance to King Street. As others have mentioned, its a very narrow turn to get in driveway but because a side street, you can take your time without being rushed.Theres window AC in each of the rooms, keeping doors closed between rooms helped keep each room cooler.
This home was perfect for 2-4 guests, very clean, and well stocked with umbrellas, amenities, and kitchen ware. We walked everywhere we wanted to explore - many charming shops and restaurants along with parks, churches, and museums in abundance. Cozy, safe neighborhood just minutes from King Street. Loved the guest guide!
We had a great time! It was nice being close to king street but not having to pay as much as hotels in the area. Just a heads up, the parking situation is tight so be aware that that wonât be the easiest.
This was a nice, clean property with really good proximity to downtown Charleston and could walk to numerous restaurants. The parking spot is very tight, the AC units are loud, and the metal plate on the street in front of the property adds to the noise but everything else about the property was great, but for the noise would have given 5 stars.
More spacious than we imagined. Very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed walking all over Charleston. Grateful that our dog was welcomed.
Good overall, close to downtown. We were able to walk wherever we needed to. Really narrow streets with residences parking in front of property making it hard to navigate parking. Lots of construction on the street as well.
Close to restaurants and ma/pa groceries for walking. Back-in parking for our SUV on a very narrow lane. During our stay there was a metal patch in the road directly in front of rental that thumped every time a car drove by. Also reported to StayDuvet that washing machine agitator was extremely loud and might need maintenance. All-in-all it was a great stay in the beautiful city of Charleston and great communication.
this place is great for one or two people, very quiet and close to anything you want to do downtown. If you like to cook, they have a full kitchen with everything you need
Beautiful place, able to spread out, had beautiful buildings all over great restaurants very walkable, got on the bus to go downtown to the historic area for free, would love to come back
PROS: This property provides a good amount of space, is decorated well, and in a super convenient location with excellent walkability. Well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living area.
CONS: This would be really rough in the summer, as you cannot set the air window units below 70 degrees. The window units are loud and make funny noises, which kept us up. The bed was extra-firm and the pillows were awful; sheets were washed in strong-smelling detergent that kept us awake. It was hard to sleep well because of these things. Blackout curtains would have been nice, as the room was very bright.
Great little house for 2 to stay and enjoy Charleston
Duvet was just awesome to deal with. Highly recommend using them for booking. This house was fantastic for what we were looking for. We would walk to King St and the market area in the morning and Uber back later in the day. The house was clean and excellently set up and furnished. If and when we come back to Charleston, we will definitely try to book this location again.
Just a few blocks walk to great bars and restaurants. So convenient and a whole house! Cute property. Excellent amenities and the host was super prompt in responding to any issues. Would stay again.
This spot was perfect for my partner and I, who spent the week in Charleston working and exploring the city. We were able to walk almost everywhere, and when too tired to do so, only had short Lyft rides to the places we wanted to go. The property manager was very responsive to any inquiries I had and was incredibly easy to work with. I would absolutely stay here again.
The workshop was bigger than expected. The road is a tight one way road. Parking is available with the rental. It can be tricky parking. Residents like to park in front of cottage and at times blocked the entrance.
Very clean and walkable to all things Charleston has to offer. Easy on and off to Hwy 17!
Quiet neighborhood with a grocery mart close by and unique restaurants.
We had the best visit to Charleston! The property was within walking distance of King Street and lots of cute shops and restaurants. There was a cold snap and because the property does not have HVAC just portable AC and Heat it was a little tricky getting the property heated up. Also there is new construction across the street and Rose Lane is extremely narrow and one way On our checkout day construction had the road blocked right in front of the cottage and we had a bit of a difficult time getting out! Some advanced notice on that type of thing would be good. Overall we had a fabulous time and the cottage is beautiful and clean
