Excellent service from the manager Kam at check-in on 11/8 and a guest service rep (I think Gregory) at check-out on 11/11, then again from Kam when I had trouble finding parking one evening. (Parking is on floors 3-4 of the deck; pull a ticket and validate it at the front desk.) Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful including the grounds maintenance young man; the grounds were clean; I felt very comfortable walking solo in the area as a woman; and the uptown sights such as museums were within an easy 10-ish minute walk away (and NASCAR is right across the street). Whole Foods is basically next door and came in clutch, too. (There are also a lot of dining options along the Rail Trail/S. Tryon.) Great area to be in. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again during my next visit.
