Winter Family Gathering

Large home with gorgeous views out the upstairs bedroom windows and throughout the main level. Well stocked with basics; comfortable beds and nice game room. Unfortunately, the media room was under repair, which was disappointing. Due to the winter weather, we were unable to use the outside amenities..

Fully stocked, comfortable beds & beautiful views

We enjoyed two nights in town for a family wedding. I’m used to having to bring trash bags, paper towels, dish soap, dw pods, soap for bathrooms, toilet paper, etc. and they had all of that. The kitchen has absolutely everything you could need to cook. The beds are comfortable, the sheets are soft! The towels & bath mats are nice quality. The views are incredible esp in October. The main suggestion I would have is that they get comfortable, updated group friendly outdoor seating for the covered porch to enjoy the views. That porch furniture was disappointing. The driveway is insanely steep to get down, but did fit 6 cars.

FLIP FLOP THERAPY

My family and I (9 total) just left Flip Flop (June 30 to July7. It was a great house; it met all our needs plus. Fantastic open space. It was very well stocked with kitchen utensils, pots, pans, bowls - just about everything. Everyone loved the 2 dishwashers in kitchen. Well thought out amenities. There are a couple of minor tweaks that should be made known: 1. Large oven does not work properly, doesn't heat up, even after refilled. 2. Pocket door in queen bedroom/bathroom (first floor) is off the track, will not close at all. 3. Pocket doors in Jack and Jill bathroom are extremely difficult to work, children unable to open or close. 4. TV in Master King does not work properly. 5. Theater room TV does not stream. 6. Lower-level bathroom toilet runs, needs a new flapper. 7. Doorknob on Kitchen door going to balcony, inside knob, keeps falling off. 8. Balcony could use some more comfortable sitting. 9. If sitting on balcony or even inside, one could not see the dock. If those trees in the middle of the yard were hit by lighting it would not be a terrible lose. 10. 10. Right side of dock only had one cleat and the board attached to it is loose... and the second cleat is missing totally. All in all, we had a wonderful time in a great space. Thank you Sue Davin PS Almost forgot, kudos to Nicole for getting the Sewer/Septic fixed within 18 hours. BIG THANK YOU

Bobby's 40th Weekend Getaway

This spacious three story home was more than I could've ever imagine. My husband told me for his birthday he wanted a space to gather with friends, a nice dinner, and pool table to play pool. Not only was this house spacious, it had the pool table, movie theater, firepit, ping pong table, workout room, a office, arts and craft room and the list goes on. There was so much to do that the two days we were there was not long enough to enjoy everything. When I say fully equipped, I mean it was fully equipped. There was always someone from property management to assist with questions and concerns any time I texted. We will be visiting again.

Fabulous house

Flip Flop Therapy exceeded our expectations. Very spacious and pretty well laid out. The yard was great for kids and the dock was perfect for jumping in for a swim. Plenty of room for cars. “Studio” was a big hit, as was the theater and the candy cupboard! Toys in the “kid” bedroom were a great surprise. The laundry room is almost as big as a bedroom, so counters were very handy. Loved the open main floor - we could easily cook, with many of us participating. The kitchen was very well stocked, although they could use a new knife block. Game room was great - the lower level had something for everyone! Previous reviews did not give good reviews of the beds. We thought they were very comfortable. And the Murphy beds are queens, and also very comfortable. Definitely a “6th bedroom”. Manager was easily contacted and very responsive. We really loved our stay!

Everything we needed

This house was perfect for my family and we had all the space and amenities we needed! Great location, close to restaurants and shopping. The theater, pool table and ping pong table were a huge hit and kept the kids happy and occupied.

Very nice home with great lake location. Had initial problem with very low water flow from weell pump sucking up sand, but was resolved in a day. Main floor bed listed as queen is just full sized bed.

Perfect home for a large group

I loved the big kitchen and family room; plenty of room to move around, comfortable seating, and beautiful views of the lake. It felt both large and intimate at the same time. The master bedroom had an equally great view, and large bathroom. The property managers were very responsive, and brought us a couple of things that we needed very quickly. I loved that there was a big pantry, 2 large refrigerators and 3 dishwashers, which helped a lot for such a big group. The paddle boards, kayaks and floating mat were a nice surprise to me and we used them daily. We had some great evenings at the fire pit & lower deck as well. The kitchen was well stocked, and I appreciated the body wash, shampoos & conditioners that were in every bathroom. Lots of trash cans, too. I can't think of anything we needed that we didn't have during our stay. All in all, a perfect experience!

Needed Vacation

The house is absolutely amazing, and the location is perfect as you are minutes away from anything you might need. The home overall has everything to keep a large group happy while having enough space so everyone can spread out. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Charlotte 49ers Graduation Weekend

Flip Flop Therapy was perfect! We needed a house with enough space for 20 people…we were NOT disappointed. It was perfect for our family to be in one to place to celebrate our nephew’s graduation. Plenty of room to spread out with games for the entire family. Fishing, kayaks, etc….absolutely a fun-filled weekend.

The house is great and well stocked for a big group. We had issues with the boat not working (stranding our grandkids) and a septic that needed service. The electronic games didn't work but the movie room was great.

Christmas at the Lake

We stayed Dec. 22-27. When we arrived….surprise, surprise, the house had a decorated tree and several Christmas decorations. Our whole family got to share Christmas ( all 14 of us, ages 17 to 80 ) in a beautiful house. From the amazing kitchen to the game room, everyone enjoy the time we spent there. The younger folk canoed and enjoyed the game room and the older folks sat on the balcony and enjoyed watching. Our granddaughter snagged a 20 lb cat fish too. We had a few problems when we first arrived but they were immediately fixed. Thank you Morgan for seeing that all went well. Great house…..great Christmas.

Great House, Great Communication, Minor issues

We had a great time at Flip Flop Therapy. The house was beautiful and the lake views were absolutely stunning! There were several minor issues during our stay but Lakecations were on top of everything. The only major issue we had is that the two bedrooms they describe as queen beds are not quite queen size beds. Our group was smaller so it ended up not causing us any issues, but I wanted to make a not as two adults would have a hard time sharing those beds. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay again.
