Best Rental We've EVER Had!

This property couldn't have been more perfect for our family vacation and was hands down the cleanest, most well-equipped, and "homiest" rental we have ever stayed at! From the time we booked, Louise was in touch with me making sure the house would be prepared for our visit - offering to have the kids items out and ready, sharing details of where things were located, and then following-up during our stay to make sure things went well and we were prepared for checkout. The pictures do not do this home justice as it was even better in person and truly everything you see (and much of what you don't) is there and accessible to you. There truly was not a single item that we needed or wished we had that was not thought of already by Louise & Mike! Thank you for sharing your home with us and we hope to be back again soon!

Great house

Really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Lots of amenities and everything was clean and well kept. The water was low and owner said it hasn’t been that low at this time of the year since they’ve owned. Was better to go float a little further from dock to avoid the “murky” water around dock. The beach area was fantastic. Owner was great at answering any questions. Definitely would recommend.

Perfect lakefront property

This was a beautiful and so very comfortable home situated right on the lake. Our three-generation family loved the space and amenities! So very young-child friendly, with baby gate, pack-n-play, toys, etc. Lots of water toys kept the older ones happy, too. We loved the fire pit and private beach with dock. Our gourmet-loving family found the kitchen to be very well equipped down to an abundance of spices and nearly every conceivable kitchen accessory. While I found the two adult mattresses upstairs much too firm for my liking, everyone has their preference. After a brief stint without electricity (tornado touched down at the lake!), Louise was fantastic about keeping in touch during the power failure - I couldn't ask for a more responsive owner. We would definitely return to this incredible vacation home if again at Lake Norman.

Wonderful Trip

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The house was really nice and well-equipped for a family with young kids, and the outdoor areas (beach, deck, dock, etc.) provided tons of entertainment. Family Getting Together

The house is beautiful and in a good location. Everything that we needed was provided and if we needed suggestions on where we could rent a boat or jet skis the owners were happy to help. We had family getting together from different parts of the country and their home made it easy for everyone have a good time and a vacation that we will not forget.

Perfect getaway at the lake!

This property was perfect for our weekend getaway at Lake Norman. The home was clean, spacious and stocked with everything you could think of! Owners were friendly and responsive. Having the dock and close proximity to a launch made bringing our boat a breeze. Fun was had by all (adults and kids)!

Lake Norman Lake House Rental

The owners of the property offered prompt and detailed communication throughout the stay, which was helpful. The interior of the home was clean when we arrived, and the space provided plenty of room for our family. The kitchen provided all of the utensils that one would need to cook, and the bedrooms and bathrooms provided decent amenities. The outdoor entertaining space was comfortable, but it would have been nice if the outdoor fan was operational. The grounds were in reasonably good shape. The firepit area was a nice touch. However, there were weeds growing in the sand and down by the water that had not been tended. Overall, I would say that the rental provided us what we needed, but the requirement to wash all of the sheets and towels before a 10am departure seemed excessive in light of the fact that you are trying to pack up your belongings.

Fun family vacation

We had a great time visiting Lake Norman. The house was perfect for our group of 9. We really enjoyed a few games of pool in the evenings after a day spent out on the lake. Would definitely rent again.

Annual Family Trip

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house. We enjoyed the pontoon boat and lake Norman. House had plenty of seating and nicely appointed bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Owners are very responsive to questions. View from the upper deck is awesome.

Beautiful home, just as advertised! Very clean, well stocked, great amenities. Location was really convenient to a marina, dining and grocery. This was our first visit to Lake Norman and after doing some exploring around the lake by boat, we really appreciated the homes location on the water as well. Hosts were great and easy to work with!

Family vacation

This house was perfect for our family of 8. The updated kitchen and common area were very attractive and inviting. My favorite part of the house was the big windows in the kitchen area overlooking the lake and of course the porches. The house was very clean and well equipped with blankets, towels, and kitchen supplies. My only negative comment about the house was having to wash the sheets and towels on the last day before you checked out at 10:00. This added more stress to an already stressful morning of packing and cleaning the house. However, the homeowners were very understanding when I didn't quite have everything washed and dried. Excellent house, excellent yard, and excellent location on the lake.

The house was wonderful. I loved the porch over the upper deck so much I had my husband taking notes. This Lakehouse and The VCU Rams are A-10!!!!!

The reason for that title is because are family wanted a beautiful lake home to relax for a week while we watched our son play in his college baseball conference championship. He plays for VCU and they’re in the A-10 Conference. This home we rented was ideal!! If you’re looking for a waterfront property on a beautiful lake that’s very quiet and clean this is your place! Restaurants and shopping are only minutes away. Wildlife all over the place! We will definitely be renting from Susan and Jeff again. Btw
 Susan and Jeff are the owners and any question you have they will respond very promptly. We rent with VRBO quite often and this home rates up near the top.!! Thanks Susan and Jeff for a wonderful vacation!!

Vacation at lake Norman

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Lake Norman. View was beautiful. House is spacious and well decorated with good theme. It is also well stocked with kitchen gadgets and dishes etc. Mattress in the bunk beds were sagging! All other rooms were good. Jacuzzi did not work, dishwasher was temperamental did not work consistently. Jeff was always available and responded promptly to all our concern. We did laundry except the last day, trying to get out by 10:00 AM and doing towel and bed sheets were not possible. All in all we had good times.

We were very pleased with this property and house. It was so much fun to get together with all of our grown children and significant others. The house had all we needed and we had great weather. It was a very relaxing week, kyaking, paddleboarding and tubing on the lake. We would highly recommend this as a wonderful place to stay for vacation!
