Our stay was exceptional and we couldn’t have been happier. Ryan was thorough, readily available, helpful and attentive. The property was clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed and then some. There were endless indoor and outdoor activities and games that kept us and our two boys entertained start to finish. The perfect lake stay!

I cannot think of one thing we wanted for! The bathrooms were well prepared and clean, the kitchen provided everything we needed! The game room was amazing for the teenage boys. The outdoor area was amazing! And all the beds were very comfortable! We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

Perfect

This is a beautiful home with more than one could ever need in a beautiful, quiet location. We kayaked, fished, bird watched, played football, stargazed by the fire, enjoyed pool, chess, using the popcorn machine, board games, using the top of the line Bosch appliances, watching the smart TVs located in every room
 Beds were comfortable. Checkin required simply keying in the provided code and checkout was as simple. Ryan lives across the Lake and leaves you alone unless you need him at which time he is prompt and helpful.

Stay in Early September

Ryan has done an incredible makeover on the property. House and amenities were fantastic and he went above and beyond to make the house feel like a home for a week. Yes he does have the necessities so you don’t have to bring everything with you which is great but if you run out the Food Lion is only 5 minutes away. Enjoyed bringing out dogs and loved the kayaks!

Family vacation

Great place for a family vacation! We loved to be able to go on the lake paddle boarding or kayaking or swimming, sitting by the fire in the evening. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and appliances to accommodate big group (we had 9 adults and a baby). Host was great in communication and responded promptly to our messages. The only thing that I would suggest, is to have at least 2-3 more adult size life vests for paddling/kayaking, or at least let guests know to bring their own. Overall, great place to stay! Thank you!

Beautiful Lake House

This is our second time staying at Ryan’s lake house. It’s so beautiful and clean! Ryan is always responsive and makes sure his guests have everything they need. Amazing place on Lake Norman, owner was local and had great communication with us before, during and after the trip. Very flexible with check-in/check-out times. Extremely clean with a modern design. If we’re in the Charlotte area again, this would be the first place we try to book. 5-star!

I have stayed at several places using VRBO and this host was one of the very best I have experienced. Ryan's communication was prompt and he was very attentive to every need/question, ensuring the stay was perfect. We even had a welcoming bottle of wine waiting for us. The house was spotless and very well stocked. The location on the lake and backyard was perfect. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards that come as part of the rental. We had a wonderful relaxing week at the lake.

Superb Stay; Exactly as Depicted

Book it! This property is CLEAN, easy to find and located on the quiet side of Lake Norman close to everything we needed (grocery, pharmacy, coffee house, marina, etc.). The home is impeccably maintained, and all updates have been expertly done. The openness of the living area and kitchen serves any size group for interaction with views of the lake. The kitchen amenities are of the quality selected for one's personal home, and well-stocked. For this trip, one of us was working--the bedroom with dual monitors made the "office" work exceptionally well. Additionally, we were accompanied by our dog who enjoyed time on the deck or sleeping in front of the expansive windows. For those with pets, the home has hard surfaces and there were no signs of other pet visits -- a HUGE plus and evidence of the cleaning crew's pride in their work! Access to the lake was easy via the dock whether for a personal/rented boat, swimming in the cove, or use of the provided water toys. The covered dock and seating is a bonus for enjoyment. IF there is something needed, Ryan (the owner) is super responsive! We are considering relocation to the area and had loads of questions; Ryan's openness and responsiveness was especially appreciated! We felt we could ask him anything...I think we asked him everything! When booking a property, the most important element to us is the cleanliness and upkeep. This place is CLEAN and WELL-KEPT along with quality furnishings and appliances.

So relaxing!

This was our first trip to Lake Norman and we could not have been happier! This is such a beautiful home! It has everything you need for a relaxing Lake vacation! We loved all of the outdoor areas to gather, enjoy a meal or just relax with a glass of wine. We have rented many vacation properties and Ryan was by far the best! He is very responsive and had wonderful recommendations including to Lake Lyfe to rent a pontoon which he allowed us to keep at his dock. I have already recommended this home to friends and family! Looking forward to returning soon!

Fantastic!!

Ryan was an incredible host. He assured that everything was taken care of and answered any questions. The house was super clean and updated. We enjoyed the gazebo down by the lake and played with all the yard games Ryan has available. The kids loved the paddle boards and kayaks. We definitely would recommend staying here.
