When i got there no one was at the front desk and had to wait an extended amount of time for help. Due to renovations, all the elevators were down. Nothing in book let is know construction was happening. My first room had bugs then only available roon was on the 3rd floor. I was there on business and worked overnight. At 9am you have housekeeping banging on the door because they need all door open for painting. I told them I'm sleeping and don't feel comfortable leaving my door open and the response was "oh well". The next morning they repeatedly called the room when i told them multiple times i have to sleep. Really disrespectful to my sleeping time. Then as i was napping i kept hearing a buzzing noise. There were to big beetles over my bad. I was done at that point. Immediately packed my stuff and found another hotel. I will never stay here again. And they don't refund you even though the failure was on their part and not mine. I do not recommend this place at all.
The room smelled like the previous pers on cooked fish their whole stay. The tub was cleanwr when i got out then when i got in. The shkwer curtain was dirty
The hotel was under full construction which wasnt mentioned at all on hotels.com. the elevator was down and there was no guest laundry like stated on hotels.com either. When i called hotels.com to inform them about this hotels.com. Contacted the property and then the property lied and told me that they showed me my room and the conditions of the hotel before I paid. That is a complete lie as a matter of fact I had to wait 20 minutes for somebody to show up to the front to check me in. And I want to also add that you can't see the inside of hotel until you go around the corner at the lobbyAnd I was never informed then of the construction either. They proceeded to say that it was just a minor paint job when it was. In fact, a much more extensive construction
On top of all of that, there were screws in the parking lot that I almost ran over.
Room was very dirty with a strong odor. The broken shower head mixed with the incorrect size shower curtain made for an absolute mess in the bathroom when showering. Will not be staying here again.
When we arrived had a 2 Bed Queen booked and they didnât have it cleaned and put us in a one bed queen with roll away bed and tried to charge more since rates went up for weekend. Then never once got any towels and washcloths for a 3 night stay had to go and get washcloths everyday and last day didnât get anything. Worst hotel stay that I have booked through Hotels.com
Bed was horrible! Place was incredibly loud! I was in town for work and didnât have a decent nights sleep in 9 days.
Elevator broken, having to carry everything up and down stairs! Disabled folks stuck on upper floors with no way of getting down the stairs.
You couldnât pay me to stay there again
Staff was super Nice but that's about it! Kitchen had NOTHING. Not even the basics, like utensils, glasses, cups, or small plates. Nothing! I can understand if there's nothing for "cooking" but there should at least be something to eat with. You shouldn't have to travel with a full kitchen. And what's up with only being allowed 1 PARTIALLY used roll of toilet paper. Whatever is left on the roll from the previous occupant is what you are expected to have for the duration of your stay. They don't even leave a fresh "UN-OPENED" roll for the new occupant. If you DO run out and need more - you'll need to go to the nearest store and purchase your own. Outside pet area was more of a smoking section than it was for pets. Oh and watch the pet/deposit fees. Not clearly noted on some sites. The WORST was the fitted sheet DID NOT fit the bed and kept coming off ALL night!! Hard to get a good nights rest when you have to keep getting up and remaking the bed because the sheet pops off rolling you up!! I think I will "Stay Away" from ALL Uptown Extended Stay's in the future.
