Perfect getaway house for a group or family. Plenty of room & activities on site from foosball & table tennis to canoe & kayaking from the pier. Lots of porch area overlooking the beautiful lake views. Rick has tought of everything & was an excellent host. Highly recommend this property!

Lake Norman Family Connection

With spaces for private reflection and public comfort spaces galore, we had lots of chances to connect as a family or to hide away for personal space. There was easy access to the lake and plenty of tools to allow enjoyment by all. Seating for many in the shade of a gazebo, lounge chairs in the sun, a plethora of floating devices, kayaks, paddleboard and tubes, with life jackets to fit all sizes. The fenced yard provided security if needed, and a level area for yard games, fire pit with a supply of wood even! We decided against this because of the heat and took relief in the water, shady screened porch or very comfortably air conditioned home. Lots of comfortable bathroom access and bedroom layout provided quiet sleeping and accommodated different schedules easily. Downstairs game room was great! Seating and tables were provided in all areas so we had plenty of space. Thoughtful extras in closets and cabinets helped if we forgot anything essential. So nice to have covered parking for 2 cars!

Amazing Property

Excellent stay! Great boating and great location. Beautiful views. House was very well taken care of and clean. Kitchen well equipped. We used the canoe and kayaks to paddle down the nearby creek and it was great. One lane road to get there for about 3/4 of a mile but it wasn't a problem. Neighborhood had a boat ramp which was convenient.

Celebrating 43rd wedding anniversary.

The property looks exactly like the pictures showed. The home was very cleaned and we had everything we needed. Grocery, Publix’s is within 15 miniatures and this is a new area and has restaurants in this vicinity as well. We ate at the Toucan restaurant for our anniversary, which was right on the water. We were traveling with our small dog and took him with us. Our food was wonderful, highly recommend

Great Family Week

Met my Daughters family (40) and Granddaughters (8,11) for 5 night stay. The house and location were perfect for us. More private part of the lake, yer all of the access. The house had everything we needed. The house is well noted with guidance notes in appropriate locations to assist in making it feel like it was ours. Five days of heaven!

This place was magic! Quiet part of the lake and the house was so clean and inviting. The kitchen was very well equipped as we did our own cooking. The gas grill was easy to use. The dock and covered sitting area on the water was amazing! I really didn’t want to leave. Our host, Rick, was extremely quick to respond. I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic vacation

Thank you for the wonderful stay. No need to repeat the property features because the house and grounds and amenities are accurately described in the listing. The house was clean and comfortable, and provided with a thoughtful “instruction manual” that anticipated every question I might come up with. The fenced yard was great for our dogs (as it would be for young children) and the road leading into the peninsula is entirely walkable. Most importantly, the gorgeous dock fulfilled my vision of a peaceful lakeside retreat. The cove is indeed quiet with minimal boat traffic — paddle the kayaks or canoe for 10 minutes in one direction and you’re in the thick of houses and activity; paddle 5 minutes in the other direction and you’re in a natural area adjoining a park, with the birds and turtles and fish. Lounging and swimming from the dock was great. We’d definitely stay here again.

Pleasant, quiet, off-season respite

Loved being able to share Rick's vacation home! Very tidy and well-stocked kitchen complimented the equally comfortable beds and living arrangement. Being in this small cove afforded us a very quiet and relaxing week, enjoying the sounds of the lapping water from the very comfortable dock and watching the wildlife. Great Stay

The house looks exactly like the pictures and the kids loved all the games. There is a notebook that is very detailed and answered any questions we had. The game room was a huge win and so were all the outside games. We rented a boat from a local marina and docked it at the house for a few days. It was very clean and we had no question about if it was properly cleaned before we arrived. Would stay again.

very quiet neighborhood, not far from grocery stores or Mooresville. Be sure if you want to fish you get your fishing license there is a 10 day license for outside residents you can purchase online. Plenty of room for family and/ or guests.

Excellent Property.

My wife, 11 year old son, his friend and I stayed here for the 4th of July week and we loved it. The property owner was very informative and detailed about the property and was very helpful. Lake Norman Trip

Stayed at this property with my wife and 2 girls (3 and 6 years old). The house was clean and well prepared. The view from the deck was nice. We arrived early and spend a few hours at the new park across the cove (Mountain Creek Park) which has an adventure playground and wildlife exhibit which the kids loved. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and using the game room when it rained. This was our first trip to the area and we're glad we picked this rental.
