Nice looking property in a beautiful Victorian neighborhood. Can walk to downtown and the Victorian Boardwalk. Staff was very helpful. Great breakfast. There was an accessible laundry room where we could inexpensively wash our clothes. Much appreciated!

We had a good stay at the Sonata Inn. It’s in a beautiful historic neighborhood, it’s in a great walkable location and near the waterfront, Victory Park, and lots of shops and restaurants. Parking is easy, breakfast is very good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. My only critique is that the rooms ( at least our room ) was in need of renovation. Although clean, the paint was chipped, bathtub grout was stained, furniture and carpets were old, and neither of the TV’s worked. (it may have been because we were not using the remotes properly but there were no directions in the room). The pros outweighed the cons and as long as you can overlook that it’s somewhat run down you’ll have a pleasant stay.

Couples get away!

This is the second time we have stayed at this B&B and never disappointed. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Close to restaurants, boardwalk and downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff were incredibly hospitable and thoughtful. The breakfasts were filling. The room was clean and well stocked. The only call out I have is that since it is a century home, there are no elevators. Ensure that you double check that the room is on the ground floor if you have difficulty climbing steep stairs. The actual property is very close to both the water’s edge as well as downtown Charlottetown. Overall, a very enjoyable stay!

The Sonata Inn is a very old building turned into an Inn. Everything about the property reminds you of a bygone era of old hotels. The people who run the property are friendly and try there best to make your stay comfortable. The provided breakfast is well stocked and refreshed. However, when I consider what we paid for our stay I don't think that it is good value for money.

The room was very small and the way things are set up were ackward to move around or place our luggage. The rooms need some upgrades in paint and windows. Breakfast was nice and coffe was very good. We appreciate the age of the structures but some sprucing up walls floors and windows would make it enjoyable.

Staff is very friendly, Chris is very helpful and they are willing to go extra mile to accommodate and make the stay comfortable and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent with a small change in the menu every day.
