We had a great stay at Bungalow Charmer. The location of the property was good, about 8-10 minutes from just about anywhere in downtown. The house was had everything we needed for the long weekend stay. Check in was easy and the management team was very responsive. The only negative was the beds were very hard. With that said, we would certainly stay here again!
In town for a few days to explore the area surrounding Chattanooga. Location was centrally located to UTC Campus, Rock City, great restaurants and shopping. Enjoyed the river walk and pedestrian bridge too. The fire pit and hot tub was a nice way to end each evening. The angle of the driveway is a bit challenging but we got used to it. We would definitely stay here again.
It was a great in every aspect. Very clean house and great location. The neighborhood was great and very quiet. Had an issue with the kitchen sink and once I called they had somebody there to fix it within 30 minute. I would rent this place again for sure.
The property was just as advertised. We were surprised upon arrival that there was no check in information regarding WiFi or info on the hot tub. After some trouble I got a real person on the line, but this person knew nothing a bout the hot tub or the guest WiFi password. She finally gave me the admin password and that was helpful. The place was clean at first look, but no hand soap in the master bath, coffee creamer on the counter was moldy and upon searching for an item under the couch, there was quite a thick layer of dust under there. We had 8 adults in the house and so expected sheets put out for the pull out couch. Sorry, not sorry that we broke into the storage closet to get sheets for our 8th guest. It felt like no one who really cared had seen to the property for awhile. Cleaning was just surface, and although there were clean towels on the beds, all of them were wet and needed more time in the dryer. We were able to take care of these little things, but we should not have had to do so. We did love the house, but these little things show a lack of care for paying guests.
This bungalow was in a great location on North Shore-Chattanooga. Close to Publix and shops/restaurants. The neighborhood is transitional-some new and older homes. Small playground close by. We had plenty of room for our family of five (enough for 6). We would stay here again.
House is in good location to many popular things to do. Good home for 6-10 people. We had a few little issues with the house but the property manager came immediately to fix our problems and all was good. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay near Northshore area. So close to aquarium and many other attractions. Also had all bathroom towels, kitchen appliances, even a few games for you to play.
The home was very spacious for 4 adults and 2 teens. The hot tub was nice and we enjoyed the firepit. We absolutely loved that we were centrally located to everything! Ruby Falls and Rock City were the farthest and that was only 15 minutes! Would definitely stay again!
The pictures were accurate, the reviews were spot on, the place was spacious and clean, everything needed was provided and the property manager was available and proactive. Check in/out was a breeze. Outdoor area was exceptional and the hot tub was great. Neighborhood was great, the front and back porches were cozy, the yard was great and furniture was comfortable. The TV's worked as noted and the coffee maker was just what we needed. Conveniently located to everything we needed. The beds were firm and the sheets and towels were soft. We would definitely stay here again.
Our family stayed during Thanksgiving weekend. The house was clean and we loved the fire pit. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and near a trailhead. The house is within a few minutes drive to anything you want to do in Chattanooga. One note, there were three unlocked windows when we arrived. We had a great stay and would return.
I would stay here again. A few minor updates to the place would make it even more enjoyable. There was only a mirror in the bathroom and no hooks to hang things on. However, the hot tub worked and I had no issues with any appliances etc. The driveway is on a hill so itâs a little challenging loading and unloading luggage. Itâs not enough inconvenience to not stay again though.
It was a cute house. Very steep driveway, parking area. Only room for two cars. Kind of rough area, but house was cute. Property manager was very responsive with concerns or issues. Only thing I didnât care for was my sister ended up being able to join and even though the house slept 10, I only had 7 people initially- I had to pay extra for her. Also would recommend more mirrors in home so more than 2 people can get ready at a time. But overall very happy, we enjoyed it!
This was a very clean and comfortable place. The location was great especially for families as a nice playground was just about 100 yds from the house. Surprisingly quiet for so close in town. Great location 5 min by car to Coolidge Park and the Walnut street bridge, 7 minutes to the Aquarium and downtown Chattanooga.
Only negatives were no microwave so couldnât reheat leftovers from restaurants easily and master bath sink had no stopper for the sink drain.
This bungalow is perfect for a visit to beautiful Chattanooga. The house was spacious for our family of four and it had everything we needed like soaps, towels, and paper products. I have to agree with a previous review about needing hooks or bars for hanging items, though. Alas, we didn't use the hot tub because we were so busy exploring the area. I can't say enough about the location - it is great! It's in a quiet residential neighborhood and I really enjoyed the provided coffee on the front porch every morning. There is also a trail head to enter a city park within a couple blocks of the house. We did not venture far on the trail due to time constraints, but it seemed like a nice park for hiking. And the house is very close to the downtown area; walkable if you're ambitious, but short drives to everything, really. I highly recommend a stay here if you're planning a visit to Chattanooga!
This was a good place for our family. Was a little concerned about location, but no problems. We had plenty of room and there was a nice little park in walking distance for the grandbabies. Would definitely go back it was convenient to all the attractions we wanted to visit.
The house was clean, with plenty of towels and a good location. A few minor recommendations: we had young children who still take baths, and there were no plugs for either bathtub. The main bath did not have a way to hang any towels. Hooks in the bathroom would have been nice. The closet in the master was full of storage and not useable. The master did not have a dresser, so we had to leave our belongings in our luggage on the floor. Aside from those inconveniences, the house was in a good location and great for our needs.
Close to everything, parking was basically on the hill driveway but we only had one car so not a big problem. Dishwasher still was full with other dirty dishes, still not an issue for us. We loaded ours and ran it as we left. Hot tub was great. Plenty of room. Beds were comfortable
. We will stay again
