Great Weekend in the Cotswolds

Great accommodation. Cottage is perfectly placed with many walks direct from the door. Only a short stroll into the village. Perfect accommodation and looking to revisiting next year

Really clean and comfortable stay. Short walk into town for restaurants and pubs aside from The Mousetrap which is a few minutes walk. Good location for exploring the area including Cheltenham.

Amazing house!!

I booked this house for my big birthday celebration for me and my family.....10 of us in total. It was a great success for all of us young and old!! The house is in a great location and with so much space we didn't feel on top of each other. The house has been finished to a high standard and feels like someone's home with all the attention to detail. Very comfortable and well equipped. We had an amazing break and would come back again.

Beautiful house in the perfect location.

Our stay at Fosseside House couldn't have been better. The house easily accommodated 10 adults and the great weather allowed us to make use of the garden. Each room is stylish and clean, there is ample off road parking and the location allowed for an easy stroll into town.

Fabulous family home

We had a great stay at Fosseside which comfortably coped with our family of 10 adults and 2 babies. Spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. A short stroll from the middle of town and a great base to explore the Cotswolds.

Another stay at this wonderful house

We booked Fosseside House for the second year running, for yet another special family celebration. The house was perfect for the weekend - seemed even better than our first visit. We hired in a chef to cook our Saturday evening dinner - that worked out so well. I cannot praise this house too highly - 100% recommend.

A lovely house , ideal for our family of 10.

Fosseside House is a lovely Arts & Crafts style property which easily accommodated our extended family of ten. It is tastefully furnished with plenty of parking space. The games room proved very popular with the younger members of our party. .

Fantastic accommodation, all rooms beautifully decorated and furnished, lots of space, very well equipped. Great location. Would definitely recommend and book again. Very minor points, which didn't detract from the enjoyment of our stay - could do with mirror in the main bathroom, twin room a little snug for two adults.

The Perfect Stay!

The location was perfect, 10 minute walk from the high street. The house was warm and clean - comfortably fit all 10 of us with lots of rooms and extras like the games room. Modern style and a comfy feel for the autumn months. Would definitely return and recommend.

Great for college reunion

A well-located house that can accommodate 5 couples and has all the necessary equipment - including table football. We could wander into Bourton-on-the- Water easily the whole village from this base.

Lovely house - wonderful stay

We rented the house for a family birthday celebration. It was perfect for us. Spotlessly clean; it provided us with everything we needed for a fantastic weekend (including a games room). A short walk away from the centre of Bourton. Would 100% recommend without hesitation. We will definitely book again

Stay at Fosseside House

We had a lovely family stay in Fosseside house in Bourton on the water. The house was a 15 minute walk to the town centre. Bourton-on-the-Water on the water has all that you need and a leisure centre too. To manage expectations I would like to point out that the house is located close to the busy A429 which is handy for travel but could be noisy at night especially if you use the loft bedroom and have windows open.

Easter hols break

Stayed here as a group of 6 including 2 teens and 2 elderly ladies for 4 nights. Beautiful house. Super clean and comfortable. Very spacious. Very close to Bourton-on-the-water village and great location to explore rest of Cotswolds. Bed in master bedroom was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Bourton and surrounding area is gorgeous. So sad to leave. Would defo stay here again

Lovely spacious well located property

Super location for 8 friends on our annual get together for a walking weekend. Loved the space inside and outside. Had fun in the games room on Friday evening playing table football and darts. Bedrooms are spacious and good to have so many bathrooms. Thanks for the welcome pack. Please let people know the type of Nespresso machine in the house.

A wonderful stay

The house is beautiful, tastefully decorated, in excellent condition & has really comfortable beds! It was very clean & well organised with plenty of crockery, cutlery & utensils for cooking meals for large numbers. There was an issue with the heating timer but this was sorted out very quickly. Contact with the owner was great, very responsive & the lovely Dimi came to solve the issue & have the house warming up quickly. He also brought us wood for the fire as well as popping out to get us fire lights & matches. We would happily stay here again.

A home from home in a perfect location

We stayed at Fosseside House for 6 nights. It's so homely and welcoming, with everything you could possibly need inside. The kitchen is excellently equipped to cook a full roast dinner! Several of us needed to work from home for a couple of days during the stay and the house was big enough to let us do that, with no problems with WiFi etc - we even had a room each! We had minor issues with the outside lights, but Eileen went excellent and arranged for someone to fix them before the end of our stay. It's an easy 5-10 min walk into Bourton-on-the-Water, with easy access to other walks, as well as roads to other locations within the Cotswolds. I would highly recommend this house and we will certainly stay there again, if we've in the area!

An excellent property in a great location

We spent a long weekend staying in Fosseside House to celebrate an 85th birthday and it proved ideal. The location is about 10 minutes walk into the centre of the village - going via the Windrush path along the side of the river and fields is highly recommended! This also meant that we could escape from the crowds in the centre of the village and have time and space to ourselves. There was more than enough car parking (we had 4 cars at one point but could have easily parked 7, one for each of us.) The house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped especially in the kitchen with ovens and hobs galore! The 4 bathrooms were great allowing everyone to get ready for dinner around the large dining table in the evenings. The good weather meant that we were able to sit out around the huge table in the garden too - and wandering in for competitive games of darts and table football in the games room. We had Sunday lunch at the nearby Mousetrap pub (less than 10 minutes walk) which was excellent - booking is essential though!

Beautiful Bourton

Well where do I start! We have been to Bourton on the water before and were enchanted by its beauty and Fosseside House just added to our wonderful week. The location was brilliant for walking into the very busy village so we could leave the car at home. The house certainly lived up to its pictures! It was a great size for our party of 9 and had everything we needed (possibly another fan on the very hot days) The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need. The furnishings were good quality and well maintained. The garden was private but could have had a bigger grass area for the little ones to run around in (that almost feels like nitpicking) All in all it was a wonderful week in a lovely house within walking distance of a quaint village.

Wonderful stay in the the Cotswolds at Fosseside

Fosseside house exceeded all our expectations. We had the most wonderful stay with all the family. The house was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped with more kitchen equipment than we could possibly need. The heating was very effective and easy to control. There was plenty of space for all eight of us throughout the house and the large dining table was perfect to sit around for family meals. We appreciated all the bathrooms and the games room was great fun. The location could not have been better, just a short walk into Bourton-on-the-Water. We walked along the road but also discovered the scenic route by the water. There were beautiful rural walks from the front door of the house. We loved watching the geese waddle past the driveway on their way to the river opposite. Bourton-on-the-Water itself was simple the best location with plenty of independent shops, lovely restaurants and cafes. We would really recommend Fosseside house and will definitely return. Stay Cotswolds were very efficient throughout the whole booking process.Thank you

80th birthday family celebrations

Family gathering to celebrate my mums 80th birthday for 9 people. House was very well equipped with everything you could wish for. Home from home. House was large enough that people could spread out and not feel on top of each other but still maintained its cosy feel. Games room was a bonus for the teenagers and oldies alike! Its only a 10 min walk into the heart of the village which has an abundance of cafés, restaurants and shops. Its a bonus to be able to leave the car at home and venture out on foot. House does need a bit of TLC on the outside i.e. paint peeling on windows and broken glass window in the lounge. Its also quite near a busy junction into the village and does not have any double glazing. So, if you prefer total silence then it may not be for you. Apart from the odd grumble the house was absolutely perfect for us and would defiantly recommend and stay again.
