Great house, close to the town with lovely shops, pubs and restaurants. For a weekend break there are also great walking routes near from the front door.

The Kingfisher cottage which is set in beautiful surrounding and is also very cozy and comfortable with well stocked overall provisions of all the facilities within the cottage. A family weekend in kingfisher cottage

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating my 65 birthday at kingfisher cottage. It was a perfect place for extended family with my toddler Granddaughter. It was lovely and warm , very large with a very well equipped kitchen. Lots of room for everyone to relax with several sofas to lounge on. Beds were comfortable with excellent en suites . We were just 5 minutes walk to centre of town with pubs and restaurants

Kingfisher cottage is excellent.

All aspects of our stay were excellent. The property was beautifully furnished, very well located on the outskirts of the lovely town and within walking distance of Sudeley Castle. The pool table and garden were an added bonus.

A Comfortable Stay for 10 people.

We had a very comfortable stay for 10 people. The house was immaculate on arrival and Christmas decorations made a very festive look. There was enough space for all of us to be comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. It was fun having the Pool table for us to use. We would certainly book it again.

Can't fault this cottage. Spacious, calm setting, gorgeous walks on your doorstep, shops for essentials a few mins away, owners very responsive (they live next door, are very unobtrusive but also came round immediately when we needed help with the TV!). Beds very comfortable, hot water on demand, plugs and lamps everywhere they're needed (not always the case in holiday lets), very sharp knives for cooking (i usually bring my own), toiletries, welcome biscuits and prosecco, tea/coffee, the list goes on! They've thought of everything. Highly recommend.

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location

The cottage was perfect for our group, lovely and clean and very well equipped, we wanted for nothing! Di and Dave couldn't have been more helpful. Check in and out was very easy. The location is gorgeous.

We used the Cottage for a family celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary. The property comfortably took all ten of us ranging from 4 to 74. Lovely garden and amenities perfectly located for family gatherings.

Very professional in all areas. Owners live next door and will give helpful advice and help if required. Lovely Winchcombe Stay

We were 5 couples and the house was excellent for us having five bedrooms each with its own bathroom Kingfisher Cottage is in a good position on the outskirts of the town but within easy walking distance of the town centre The garden was delightful, full of colour and with lovely views The house was clean and well appointed with plenty of space downstairs for ten There are lovely walks nearby and plenty of sights to wee nearby Di and Dave were excellent hosts, very informative and helpful We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book the house again

A Beautiful Retreat

We had an extended family weekend at Kingfisher Cottage which we found very homely and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided which was amazing considering we comprised a group aged 9 months to 90. We appreciated having different seating areas that accommodated our large party - sitting room, conservatory and patio, and the kitchen/breakfast room was an ideal social area too. We appreciated the beautifully crafted touches of home decor and the love that had been put into the cottage to make it so welcoming. Many thanks to the owners in making our stay so memorable.

A wonderful stay in a perfect location

This cottage was perfect for a group of 8 friends to meet. The communal space was spacious and airy. The cottage was immaculate and well equipped in a great location with easy access to town and countryside. Lovely touches on arrival with biscuits and a bottle of fizz. Di was really helpful and flexible about a later checkout too. Would definitely recommend.

Sad it didn't last longer!

This home was absolutely perfect for our family's short stay in the Cheltenham area. The flower-filled garden allowed the kids to run around and play with yard games they discovered, we grilled out two of our three nights, and the home was so spacious that everyone was able to comfortably spread out. We adored the sunroom, and everyone played pool anytime we were home. The walk to shops was a quick 5-7 minutes, and the country walk to the castle was fantastic - just right out the back door! We would absolutely stay here again.

Stay at Kingfisher Cottage

We were a party of 8 adults and the house accommodated us very well. Location is excellent - you can walk to Winchcombe centre and to Sudley Castle. Diane, the owner, was very welcoming. The only minor observation was that the dining table chairs had lost their padding which made them uncomfortable to sit on We took up Diane's suggestion of a meal at The Corner Cupboard Inn in the village which we all enjoyed.. We would highly recommend Kingfisher Cottage

Great house in beautiful surroundings.

Had a wonderful break . The house was perfect for my elderly mother having ground floor facilities as well as the use of a wheelchair. The 4 ensuit bedrooms ideal for the other 7. Plenty of space for us all , we particularly enjoyed the use of the pool table, the beautiful gardens and being able to walk from the house into Winchcombe. Plenty of walks and places to visit . Would definitely recommend.

Riverside garden

Kingfisher Cottage is within easy walking distance of the charming village of Winchcombe, is convenient for the many local attractions and is located in its private garden near the river and footpaths. We understand that it was purpose built as a holiday let. The accommodation is good, the house is light, warm, well equipped and the owners were helpful. The house is close to a fairly busy main road and morning traffic noise combined with that of the boiler kept one of our number awake but there are sufficient bedrooms to move to somewhere quieter, unless full to capacity.
