The property was ideal for our break, very clean and well kept. Staff that we interacted with were friendly and helpful and polite. The only thing we were disappointed with was that the sauna wasn't in operation but everything else was great and as described. We travelled to Chester by train and found the public transport and taxis very reasonably priced with the local buses stopping almost outside of the hotel drive. We would have no hesitation in staying here again, a very good experience overall. Paul and Jean

Had another nice stay in this hotel. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfy bed. We had a bit of an issue with the fish & chips that my partner had as a bar meal on the Sunday evening - more batter than fish! However, after discussion with the chef and the management, this was resolved satisfactorily. The pool/ spa area was lovely - and quiet on a Monday evening. Good and plentiful choice of food for breakfast. Very handy for the park & ride bus into the city centre. This was our second stay, and we’d choose this hotel again if going to Chester. Thank you.

Lovely

Lovely little hotel just outside Chester. Beautiful grounds. Staff amazing and food. Spa is not a traditional relaxing spa, it doesnt claim to be!! but is a bonus, lovely. And amazing price

Nice clean room. Had an issue with the TV but it was resolved very quickly. Food in brasserie was nice. Good selection at buffet breakfast which was cheaper at the hotel than the price when booking. Requested a ground floor room which we got. Hotel has good accessibility for those with mobility issues but only 3 disabled parking spots. Pool was lovely, clean and warm, but did have steps from changing rooms. Convenient for park and ride to Chester

Convenient location

Adequate for our needs, attending a wedding at Peckforton in Cheshire. Unfortunately the leisure facilities were closed for Days 2 & 3, which we were warned about in advance and offered full refund if required. On Day 1 a mishap in the pool meant it had to close on that day too which was unavoidable, however the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were available for use. Double room adequate tho on the small side. Staff friendly and helpful.

Abbots well-nice

Welcomed warmly. Swift check-in. Clean room. Free entry to spa suite which was very welcome in the mornings. Handy location for a walk into city along the canal. Easy to access from motorways. I would recommend and stay here again 100%.
