The good news is that the house was immaculateâvery clean, comfortable, and everything worked smoothly from check-in through our stay. The owner reached out and was easy to communicate with. We live in the next town over from Glenview and rented the home for a month for my auntâs extended visit.Our concerns were relatively minor but worth noting. The listing tagline reads, âAmazing mid-term rentalâentire home in Glenview,â but the property is actually in Northbrook. While the description later mentioned Northbrook, the headline was misleading. It felt a bit like a bait-and-switch since the rate seemed more in line with Glenview pricing. Perhaps the property falls within a Glenview school district, but the address and setting were clearly Northbrook.Additionally, although the house sits on a residential street, itâs a corner lot right off a busy road, which detracted from the âpremiumâ feel. The dĂ©cor, while clean and functional, was somewhat dated.Overall, the home was spotless and served its purpose well, but it didnât quite live up to the âpremium Glenviewâ promiseâand a lower price would have felt more appropriate.
