Great communication! There was an unfortunate issue with the first unit and they were able to pivot and have us in a new unit very close by within about 45 minutes of our arrival! The area is nice enough, but within a little over 2 hours of our arrival we heard sirens 6 times. We were really starting to question what we'd gotten ourselves into, but it was quite late so we decided to risk it and regroup in the morning. Turns out there's a hospital about 1/2 mile down the street.
The property was nice and convenient for location. The floors were creaky but that's expected in an older home. The beds were nice and everything worked as it should. I did slip down the concrete stairs out front and have torn a muscle in my back in ice that formed over night. Be careful. Thank you for letting us rent your property.
I stayed here with my parents and my teenage son when we went to my oldest sonâs bootcamp graduation from the Navy. The location was great, but thatâs about all that was good about it.
The property is an apartment on the bottom floor with tenants above. The floors in this place are crazy - you can hear every step with a LOUD creak/squeak. You canât move in this house without disturbing everyone, I have never heard anything like it.
The single bathroom is a nightmare. There a raised claw foot tub with a fixed shower head above it, this was very precarious for my elderly parents to get in and out of without assistance. The plumbing was open around the pipes and my son found a roach in the bathroom that had clearly crawled on from the subfloor. In order to get wet under the shower, you have to press yourself up against one side of the tub and even then, itâs hard to get the water to your body. After we showered, we still did not feel clean!
The beds were extremely uncomfortable as is the furniture. We wished that we had booked a hotel and would not stay here again. If I could give it zero stars, I would!
