The room was lovely and clean and the housekeeping staff was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and the location was very convenient. However, the front desk staff was less than pleasant, especially upon check in when springing the hidden fees upon me, which are not disclosed on Expedia. Bookers beware that you will be hit with mandatory hidden fees when checking in that will be presented to you as if they are the refundable hold fee all hotels charge, when in reality it’s an “all inclusive resort fee” thing and then you’re hit with the refundable fee on top of that.

Resort Fees

Hotel was in a good location. Rooms were comfortable, and spacious enough. The down side was the terrible parking situation, and the “resort” fees they charged me when checking in. It was close to $500 for their fees that come with free breakfast, drinks at the bar, and discount vouchers for dinner. The gentleman said it was non negotiable and it is necessary to pay for this service when checking in. The hidden fees whether hooking through a 3rd party or not is ridiculous, and dishonest. It was an expense I was not ready for.
