I was only staying for two nights & needed a place for my cousins naval boot camp graduation. Check in was super quick, room was neat, had an issue with one of my key cards & got it exchanged without any issue from staff & check out was easy. My only problem was the shower head seemed loose and would not stay up on its own. Other than that the stay was pretty nice & I would come back. 👍

I loved the welcoming we got for the Naval graduation. Front desk staff was very accommodating. The rooms could have been cleaned better. Found left over trash from previous guest in closet. And found cleaning towel n our shower when we returned to room. Othee than that it was a very good stay and comfortable beds.

We came to the area to visit Naval Station Great Lakes for my daughter’s graduation from NRT. I chose this hotel due to the proximity to the base and other activities as well as the aesthetic of the hotel itself. She is a very lovely hotel and has a slightly vintage feel. Check in was super easy peasy and the room was very lovely. My only complaint with the room itself, is that the shower stall in our room was either just a complicated contraption or may have been not working properly. Either way it was a bit frustrating to manage in the hustle bustle of our short trip. The only other issue during our stay was a customer service matter that arose on the morning of check out. The person I encountered at the cafe was Mary, and she was extremely unpleasant. I would not be exaggerating to call her flat out rude. I simply asked for butters and jam to dress the croissants I purchased for breakfast. I am staying at a hotel, and this should not have been an issue. But instead of obliging my request, Mary rolled her eyes at me, huffed and puffed and treated me like I was in the wrong for politely requesting butter and jam. Never once asked if I needed anything else, and I did want to purchase some fruit, but she ignored me and addressed the white people waiting at the other end of the counter. This was after I went to the front desk to make them aware of her complete and total lack of professionalism or basic customer service skills. I did nothing to deserve her callous disregard.

Excellent value for the price! We were pleasantly surprised, hotel was much more upscale than expected. Everything was stylish, clean, and updated. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable! Tom who checked us in was very welcoming and helpful!
