Nice place to stay if you’re in the city for long. Most rooms have rest area and kitchenette, but then if you don’t need those you might find the room too crowded and wish for more empty space for walking and luggage. The neighborhood is pretty chic. Quick check in and out. The air conditioner was a bit noisy for sleep.

The room was very clean, nice amenities, used the work-outroom. Can't say enough about the staff. Check in staff is excellent - nice smile, very helpful and always accomodating! The breakfast staff is awesome - especially Derrik and Sierra - always has big smiles, friendly, helpful and efficient. As for my family, after a long day of driving or flying into Chicago, its so nice to know you're going to feel welcomed when you get to Hyatt House!

We were in town for a concert at the United Center. We wanted a hotel close to the train station and the venue. This hotel fit the bill. It is in a quite neighborhood surrounded by apartment buildings. There is a pancake house in the same building but not much else close. You can walk a few blocks and find everything you want though. The check in is on the third floor which kinda threw us for a second but when we got there the front desk people couldn't be more helpful. Everyone, and I mean everyone we encountered were friendly and very helpful. The hotel was very clean from top to bottom. Breakfast had lots of options. The only downside was the pool was pretty cool, disappointing. All the adults we saw stepped in and got right back out. The kids didn't seem to mind but.... Overall a great experience
