Needs an Upgrade

The lobby of this hotel is nice. However their rooms need a MAJOR Upgrade. The room was very outdated and dusty. There were stains everywhere and the furniture in the suite was broken. We had to get our rooms switched due to the connecting room door being broken. I thought we would get a better room, NOT!!! We got the same outdated room. The jacuzzi was rusted and broken. This was so disappointing for this to be a Hyatt Regency.

Mediocre hotel in a decent location for Naperville/Lisle. Elevators are really busy and took a long time to get you between floors due to constantly being in use. You can hear the highway traffic in your room. AC has trouble keeping up with heat during the summer.

The staff here was incredible and helpful. Came in on the weekend they had an event so it was incredibly busy and a little loud. The room was average, but not the worst. Just wish it was a bit more updated. Overall it was a good experience, I'd come back just because of how kind the staff was.

Not the best rooms

The hotel itself was smack bang in the middle of two major roads. You can hear the cars from different floors. I had to change room three times. It's got a decent night's sleep. It's very old building noisy aircon noisy fridge and also I had to change rooms because it's was smelly. Breakfast was very good. The food was okay in the restaurant but nothing to shout about. Elevators took an age to get to where you wanted to go

Limited if any air conditioning June 21-23, understand issues due to heat, but these were not corrected by departure. Housekeeping never came on Sunday 6/22/2025. Ice machine was non-functional on 7th floor. A call from staff explaining situations(s) could have helped with the frustration levels. If there was no housekeeping, clean towels could have been offered!

This has been our worst experience ever, not only at a Hyatt, but at any hotel we’ve ever visited. From check in being at 3pm and not getting a room until after 7pm. To then get the double room with double beds that seem to be twin size. And on top of that it’s Hot in every room, and I have 3 rooms with AC on as low as it would go(60) and it still reads 78 in one 76 in the other two. Went up to Walmart to buy 3 fans and it still doesn’t cool the room. I’m up at 4:30 in the morning due to how uncomfortable it feels in my room. We have went out to our cars just to get some relief at times. Someone really needs to get on top of this problem seeing that this is just the beginning of the summer season.

I was surprised that the rooms looked so dated considered this is a very expensive neighborhood. Not sure why they are not investing more in this hotel. It feels neglected by the franchise owners. Corridors smelled bad. No USB charging outlets, Tub peeling, A/C cooling did not work (realized it after midnight as it started getting hotter). The reaspon I didn't give worse ratngs is because staff were very understanding. Carter, particuarly, is very empathetic, and customer focused.
