Landmark victorienne Accueil

Le Davis Ferme victorienne est 1892 la maison historique. Il est situĂ© dans la belle Glen Ellyn, connue pour son centre-ville pittoresque et maisons d'Ă©poque. USA Today a choisi Glen Ellyn comme ville pittoresque de l'Illinois pour cette raison. La Maison Davis est situĂ© sur un cul-de-sac trĂšs calme. En retrait de Davis terrasse, son jardin devant ajoute Ă  la grandeur de cette belle maison. Étapes de Babcock Grove Park ainsi que le lac Ellyn Park.

La maison possÚde de nombreuses caractéristiques originales et dispose de toutes planchers de bois franc à l'étage principal. Dans la salle familiale, vous trouverez la cheminée et une grande télévision à écran plasma avec son surround. La maison est nichée au milieu de grands arbres et de beaux jardins ... vraiment un endroit merveilleux pour se sentir chez soi tout en visitant l'historique Glen Ellyn et les villes voisines ainsi que Chicago et tout ce qu'il a à offrir. Avec notre station de métro Metra à 10 minutes à pied du centre-ville, Chicago est accessible en 30 minutes à peine!

Perfect VRBO - We wanted to move it!

This is truly a gem of a property. The old home is fantastic and well-equipped. The kitchen is one of my dreams. There are many spaces so no one is tripping over each other. Beds are very comfortable and the master bath is something of my dreams. Home has lovely outdoor space and we enjoyed watching the birds bathe in the birdbath. Home is surrounded by bushes so is quite secluded while still being in a bustling suburb of Chicago. Already planning another visit with some friends!

A Tribute to the Victorian Era

We were attending a graduation in Chicago and decided that while not in town, this big, beautiful place would be a welcomed escape. Boy, were we right. The level of detail and warmth of the home surpassed our expectations. The gardens were enchanting and the location, although separated from the City, provided a converse to our city time that was great.

Great House!

The Davis House is wonderful—large, spacious—and just as described in the listing. It really is fully equipped with just about anything one would need. Beds are comfortable, water pressure is great and the laundry room on the second floor is terrific. William is a gracious owner and answered all our questions promptly. He was a pleasure to work with and it was a pleasure to stay here. We will definitely be back.

Amazing home. More stunning than pictures. Lots of places to gather as a group or have solitude. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Neighborhood quiet and walkable. Enjoyed outdoor dining on deck, quiet porch swing mornings, happy hour toasting in the sunroom, playing the grand piano, and cozing up in the living room for a movie. 5 adult family members gathering for graduation from a graduate program at Midwestern University.. Just. Stunning.

We visited family in Glen Ellyn and adored the Davis House! William was a pleasure to work with, and the small dog decorations made us feel right at home with our 3 pugs and Lhasa apso. Outdoor fountain, jetted tub, wonderfully mature neighborhood, oh and the sun room right off the master bedroom. Thanks SO much for a stay that exceeded all expectations!

Wonderful Property and Host!

Family gathering to visit oldest son who lives in Chicago-land area. This was the perfect property for all of us (5 adults) to gather. A home with plenty of room and an abundance of charm! The neighborhood is fabulous. Quiet, peaceful and very clean. Just a few short minutes to the train into Chicago. Downtown Glen Ellyn is also very nice with some great restaurants! The house was beautiful and well maintained. Very comfortable interior with an equally private patio and yard. Fantastic character inside and out. The neighborhood was quiet and well maintained and within walking distance to Main Street. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing getaway in a historic setting.

Girls trip

We all enjoyed our stay, absolutely a beautiful house. So very interesting to walk around and look at everything. The back deck was very nice, beautiful yard too. The neighborhood was great too. Wonderful Davis House

My senior citizen cousins and I stayed at the Davis house for three nights. It was LOVELY! The architecture, furnishings and amenities were even nicer than listed in the ad. The price was great, as well. William was very communicative and even left us a couple of welcome gifts. Best VRBO stay EVER! Thank you for sharing your home.

Wow! What a gem!

This property was a delight from beginning to end. It is way bigger than it looks in the pics, the beds are SO comfortable, and it is in a beautiful neighborhood walkable to a little downtown area. The kids loved exploring the beautiful yard. The kitchen was stocked like someone actually lives and cooks there, none of the sparse beat up equipment you often find in other rentals. My only caution is to make sure everyone in your party is steady on their feet. The stairs are quite steep and narrow, in the way that antique stairs are. We would love to stay again when in the area!
