The space, the location, and the views! We loved watching the sunrise over the lake and park. Communication was excellent with detailed instructions for arrival and departure. This was a last-minute visit for us, and I wish I could have spent more time exploring all that the location and space offered.
Great location for what we had planned. Stunning city, park, and lake views. Close to public transit. Convenient in-building laundry (used the app to monitor machines). Curb cut in front made unloading the car easy. Host let us borrow a game for the stay. Closet space to get out of our suitcases.Perfect layout for our family of 3. Comfortable beds. Found the sofa (a hideaway) too stiff to relax on (due to bar supports.) Overall happy with the place and would stay again. Improvements: While host communicated that we would receive checkin info 3 days before, we did not receive it until the morning of our arrival. They also were not direct about how to obtain a good rate for next door parking so we prebooked a garage far away. Only on arrival day did they send a discount code to use.
Great location to trains with a stop a block away.Trader Joe's and Jewel for groceries across the street and very convenient.Apartment was perfect for family of four and we really enjoyed our four night stay.Easy uber/cab pickups and very walkable to Magnificent Mile and theater district (about 20 minutes north max).Only request would be for more kitchen basics to be stocked - cooking spray, foil, salt, pepper.Planning to book this property again for next year.Thank you.
Apartment was clean. Location was great. I have rented several homes over the years and this owner went above and beyond. Best experience I have ever had. I would not hesitate to rent again.
Location, Location, Location! You truly canât go wrong choosing this place for your stay in Chicago. The views are spectacular â we had a perfect view of the Navy Pier fireworks right from our window! We had an amazing stay at this beautiful apartment. Itâs close to so many great restaurants, shops, and amenities â everything you could need for a wonderful Chicago experience. The hosts were amazing too, with detailed instructions and help to help enhance our stay. I'll definitely be back.
Great location! Perfect for a family of four ,especially teenagers. We had the best time in Chicago. Apartment is walking distance to Soilder Field, Grant Park, the Bean, lots of great restaurants close. Target and Trader Joe's both really close as well. Would definitely stay here again.
Great view of Sunset and sunrise. Easy access to Trader Joe and public transportation. The apartment was as described, very spacious with 2-full baths, kitchen with cooking utensils. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
This condo is right on Michigan Ave across from Grant Park & the views are amazing! We had perfect views of the fireworks. Thereâs parking attached to the building which you will need to reserve & pay for. We received detailed pictures of what to look for when checking in. It was very helpful. The pictures online are exact. We needed 2 king size beds & the rooms were perfect. The VBRO owners are always happy to help with any questions & they respond quickly & are a pleasure to work with.
Our stay was terrific nicely situated close to the Metro stations super clean beds were comfortable including the pull out sofa bed. Owner was quick to respond and I suggest using spot angels for parking if you do not park in the garage next to the unit
Great Views of Skyline, Lake, Sailboats, Grant Park etc etc
We had a great time with great views in the South Loop. Very convenient location for us with great bus and EL access plus Grant Park and the views right there plus lots of clubs and restaurants that we really like. Thanks!
The property is clean, quiet, and comfortable, with great views of Lake Michigan! We didnât use the kitchen for lunch or dinner, but it was nice to have for breakfast, and the provided coffee was a pleasant bonus! The location is an easy walk to the museum campus and the Willis Tower. If we were going any further, Ubers were plentiful. One night we walked to AO Hawaiian Hideout, which was a fun Asian restaurant nearby, check it out if you stay here!
We stayed for a week for spring break. Very easy walking access to Field museum and Shedd Aquarium. The views are amazing. Some tips:1) There is a parking garage connected to the building (you do not have to go outside to access the building from the parking garage once you have your key fob). The garage is operated by LAZ Parking (download the app). Be aware- you cannot buy a pass for the whole week unless you are not planning on leaving the garage- there is a "single in and out policy". I bought a pass for the whole week and it was only valid for less than 24 hrs because I left the garage the next day and couldn't reenter- they did not give me a partial refund.2) You need to hold the key fob on the entry points for about 4 seconds for it to work.3) As of our stay, they did not have pans for the oven...so bring some foil if you want to reheat items in the oven.4) The shower tubs get super slippery when wet, two of our family members fell- so be careful when stepping in!Overall, we had a great stay. Our son is in a wheelchair and everything was very accessible!
The property was exactly as described. Itâs in a great location close to the museum campus. Bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds and excellent closet space. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. it was perfect for our trip and we would consider staying again.
Location is everything and this apartment doesn't disappoint. From the awesome view of Navy Pier fireworks to the easy local transit, and unlimited food and entertainment options. You really don't have to go far to enjoy this wonderful city. The apartment is really comfortable and cozy and has everything you need. The hosts were awesome and always available. I will definitely be back. :)
Iâm originally from Chicago. I knew the area was nice, but we were genuinely blown away how beautiful the view is from this property. We found ourselves standing in front of the windows, looking outwards for long periods of time. Highly recommend.
Brought my daughter and her boyfriend to Chicago for a few days to celebrate graduating HS. Unit is well located, nicely decorated, and above all, CLEAN! Beds were comfy (even the sofa bed) and all linens and towels were provided.
Getting there from Midway airport was a single train on the CTA Orange Line and a short walk from Roosevelt Station.
Would definitely stay here again - our only regret was that our trip was so short!
We really liked this location. Easy to walk to museums, restaurants, parks, bus stop and subway stop. Easy to get to Eleven City Diner, one of our favorite breakfast spots.
Also enjoyed the view of Lake Michigan from our living room. Very happy with our stay.
