The staff were wonderful. I arrived early and asked if I could leave my car in the car park until later that day. They allowed me into my room even though I was early. The building is beautiful and in a perfect location to see the castle, the priory and the town. My room was a little small and the mattress was very soft. The bath was the deepest I have seen in a hotel room. The coffee machine in the room and biscuits was a nice touch. And an in room fridge with cold bottled water was very welcome.

We had an absolutely amazing stay and couldn’t recommend it more highly. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and we were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional level of service throughout our stay. We were also given the opportunity to upgrade our room, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. Our room was spacious, beautifully presented, and incredibly comfortable, with a real sense of luxury- making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Breakfast was fantastic- delicious, high-quality, and the perfect way to start the day. A special thank you to Chamane and the rest of the team as well for going above and beyond to help me organise a birthday surprise for my partner.
