We stayed 2 nights ,this time. The room is spotless and quiet. We accidentally booked the handicap friendly room. It is bigger than ordinary room. The host is friendly and enthusiastic to help customers settling in. The super market is located withing walking distance. Plus the bus stop is just out side the motel entrance. It's handy to go to city centre.

On a very busy main road but it didn't disturb us and we soon acclimatised to it. A great location for shopping. Unit was basic but adequate, clean and all worked well. Enjoyed the shower. Friendly, welcoming staff.

The staff was superb. Our luggage did not arrive from Auckland and Air New Zealand had it sent to the hotel. The front desk had it waiting in our room for just us. The actual room was beyond what we expected, coming from the US and not knowing the hotel location, it exceeded what we thought. Two beautiful rooms that were well-appointed with a porch with chairs Snd outdoor tabke awaiting our last evening‘s coffee.

The motel was great. Close proximity to transport and shops. Bed was comfortable, kitchenette was handy to have. Carpet in room was a little tired. Reception friendly and helpful. Had a minor issue with the heat pump and it was attended to immediately and we were also given a heater. Perhaps a small chest of drawers in the bedroom to store clothing and a broom and/or a dustpan and brush would be helpful. Enjoyed our five day stay and will return to the V Motel. It’s a great place.

We used this for an overnight before flying out of Wellington for which this motel was more than suitable. Big room, modern, all the facilities we could have needed for a longer stay in the Wellington area had we had the time on our busy itinerary. Most importantly and easy, short drive to the airport.

Good sized room with very good facilities. Comfortable bed. Convenient for the airport. Carpet was well worn and a little dirty around the balcony door and there appeared to be a smell of stale smoke in room (perhaps from people smoking on the balcony and leaving the patio door open).
