The property itself was lovely, with a comfortable room and an excellent view. Unfortunately, these positives were overshadowed by significant communication and service issues.
The check-in process was needlessly frustrating. The keypad lock was badly scratched, and sunlight glare made the codes impossible to see. When I contacted the host for help, he seemed annoyed and was quick to point out that other guests had no issues an irrelevant detail that didn't solve my immediate problem. This pattern continued: during any issue, the host preferred to explain rather than provide direct solutions.
Furthermore, the checkout expectations felt unreasonable for a paid stay. Being asked to strip the beds and take out the trash crosses a line from being tidy into performing basic cleaning duties that should be handled by staff.
In short, the great space is let down by poor guest support and inconvenient policies.
