The air in the room smelled like mold coming from the AC. The carpet was very dirty. Bed was not very comfortable either. Hair drier wasn’t working, staff said they would bring one in the morning but it never happened. No bed rails for kids available. No extra pillows available at check-in of 9pm. Husband got sick from Buffet breakfast. NEVER staying here again even though has a good location.

The staff at Comfort Inn Chula Vista San Diego South were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special shoutout to the sweet lady at the front desk (wish I could remember her name!) She was so kind and helpful when we brought up the issue of a fishy smell in our room. She immediately brought in a scent machine to try and help, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the scent was a bit too strong for us, so we ended up turning it off and just managing with the smell. While the service was great, the room wasn’t as clean as we had hoped, and the hotel overall felt a bit run-down. It might be a better fit for other families, but it wasn’t quite right for ours. That said, the staff’s effort and kindness truly stood out. That’s is so appreciated!

It was an ok stay restroom floors where dirty restrooms had hairs on curtain then first day we stayed no hot water so inconvenient second yes to hot water other than that it was alright
