Tony is an exceptional host and was very attentive. The rental was nothing short of extraordinary in of itself. Boasting historic architecture, stained glass windows, and even a free bag of roasted coffee beans from Tony' families local coffee shop, "Mom 'n 'em", to accompany the stay. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to return myself.
The church is so beautiful and spacious! The kitchen is large and had all the equipment we needed to cook and dishes for serving and eating. The rooms are large and the beds were very comfortable, lots of pillows. Plenty of seating for everyone to hang out and not be crowded. We loved the location close to the river front and there was ample parking for several vehicles. We will definitely use this space again, loved it! And the host was great!
Beautiful, historic place with restoration taking place. We weren't aware that guests in one guest room had to cross through another bedroom to use the bathroom. Windows and history were fascinating. Neighborhood was similar to those in first stages of restoration. Stronger door locks and maybe an alarm would give peace of mind and be worthwhile because the main room in this place is huge and beautiful and unique. Host was very kind and responded quickly.
The host did a great job of communicating before, during, and at the end of the stay. Instructions for where to park, how to work the blinds, etc., were clear and concise. Everything went as planned.
The host was on top of things from booking. He provided welcoming text messages, an avenue to contact if there were any issues and prompt replies. This was such a unique place to stay and was within walking distance to downtown Covington and Cincinnati.
We absolutely loved staying here for a girlâs weekend! Plenty of room to spread out and comfy furniture. Would definitely recommend it and we may even return to it too!
We have family in Northern Kentucky and were in town for a family reunion. The church was a really neat place to stay and was only a short drive to the places we were visiting. The large, indoor plants were impressive! The owners were attentive with any questions or needs we had.
We enjoyed the extremely large space provided and the unique aspect of this venue. You must be willing to adapt when staying in a historic building such as this. While the MBR has its own private bath, the other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom that is an en-suite to the first bedroom. The guests of the second bedroom (2 double beds) must go through the first bedroom to get to it. We all appreciated the space and experience, and the owner is excellent with communication!
My nephew and daughter graduated from UC and we picked this lovely place to stay for the weekend. We brought food to host a small gathering so we didnât have to go out to eat afterwards. Everyone that arrived was amazed at how charming the large, open great room was. Thereâs a small patio area outside and we brought extra camping chairs. There are also about four parking spots behind the church, so it was nice to have off street parking. The owner was very proactive in welcoming me before the stay and checked in to make sure everything was ok. Really a great place if youâre looking for something different and fun!!
We were in town for a family wedding and stayed at this amazing property. The architecture was stunning, it was incredibly spacious, roomy, and fun. The woodwork was beautiful. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The location was great and easily accessible to every event we attended. I would stay here again. My teenage son suggested maybe making an indoor basketball court. Great property!
