The room was nice, and the night time river view was really fun. The breakfast was really good too. Everything was within close proximity. Although the road construction and one way roads got frustrating at times.

Reserved a riverfront room, paid in advance to show up and be told they didn’t have any available. So they “upgraded” us to the “executive suite” with no view… room was NAUSEOUSLY musty, dingy dirty and probably hasn’t been even opened in 20 years. Smelled like grandmas basement.

Aaron at Valet was amazing! We over shopped and were struggling with the bags, he took the time and helped us carry the bags all the way to our hotel room door. Everyone was nice and gave suggestions as to where we should visit.

Loved everything about this place, especially the staff and the location. It perfectly sits between the old town charm of Covington and the beautiful city of Cincinnati. The staff was really too notch, everyone was so kind and friendly. The room was spacious and there’s a reason the Embassy is known for their top of the line breakfasts, because it is!! Will definitely be returning!

Overall I enjoyed the property. Convenient to walk to a ballgame, good amenities, staff while very friendly were not focused and check in/bar service slow because of lack of focus. Trying to take care of everyone rather than expediency on each. Hotel has settled some so doors from bedroom to living room wouldn’t shut in room 323. Confusing for first time visitors but next visit will be fine

The staff was kind, welcoming and helpful from the moment I checked, to the evening social, breakfast and valet. Thank you for making it a great experience. The room was comfortable and clean. I could not have asked for more amenities. The location is also amazing. I look forward to returning next time I’m back in Cinci!

I ended up changing rooms four times the first two rooms smelled like mildew the third room there was no hot water and the shower bar was off of the wall, our last room was much better. Brian, Cherish and Tanesha took very very good care of us those three are amazing!!! To the Owners of that hotel you all charge a lot of money for those rooms to be in the shape that they're in. Its time to up grade those rooms the Embassy Suites Brand is huge so the rooms need to match. Thanks if anyone wants to reach out to me they can I'll be more than happy to talk.

A few complaints….

Our check in was awesome and very smooth. Our room was clean, but the curtains would not close all of the way and there were no sheers to close to minimize the light coming in. We tried to order room service via the number from the room, and it kept saying their mailbox was full. In the morning we asked to have a late check out, and the front desk said, “housekeeping says no”. Then they said they could allow it only until 11:30am. This is the only hotel that has ever said that to me. Most hotels allow an hour late check out as a standard. The biggest complaint was about breakfast. The breakfast associate was standing guard at the door at 9:45am. The food was cold and some of it was out. The omelet maker was absolutely EXCELLENT and made the very best omelets, so there is no complaint about that. It was that the staff had taken utensils prior to 10am and they were pretty rude about it. Then they turned off the waffle maker before 10am. They also then locked the doors and we had to have them come and let us out. Out in the lobby, the coffee was out and not replaced. With these issues, it gave us the perspective that they really were not accommodating. We always love staying at Embassy, just not this one.
