Property ready for guest

Cabin is very comfortable and well furnished. It is in a beautiful location and very convenient to local amenities. However, more effort needs to be made to have cabin ready for guests when they arrive. In our case, the propane tank for the grill was empty, and the grill was filthy. The freezer compartment in the refrigerator was also filthy. The major issue is that there are no window coverings in the main living area. As a result, there is no privacy in that main area. Anyone who walks up on the back walk or porch can see in. That happened during our stay.

Exceptional cabin in the woods

This home is wonderful. The description is on point. The house is stocked with most everything you'd need and what you forgot. The beds are comfortable. We loved everything about the house. Downtown is so close by car and foot if you wanted to walk. You feel like you're in a treehouse on the porch which is really nice. We loved it and definitely will return.

Beautiful cabin

We stayed for a week in this beautiful cabin. We mostly toured the area but when we were "home", we lived on the porch. Loved the fire pit and the woodburner inside. Lost of great amenities and tons of room. Theres plenty to do in the area. We especially enjoyed the Foxfire museum. The ONLY thing missing was a recliner room.

Mountain Getaway

The house is exactly as described! It was very clean. The location is great and secluded. We cooked a few meals and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We particularly enjoyed the deck with rocking chairs and a swing! We will stay there again!

Anniversary Treat

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at this cabin. The accommodations were perfect for us two- just the right amount of space and light. With no visible neighbors, the forest surroundings made it feel like we were far removed from civilization yet we were only a couple of miles from downtown. We hope to return for another visit!

The property was exceptional! The only inconvenience we encountered was taking our trash out at the end of our stay on Sunday. One of the two recycling centers offered was closed on Sundays and the other one was about a 40 minute drive out of our way.

A wonderful getaway place!

We were delighted with this cabin. It had modern amenities which we would never have dreamed of. A very pleasant surprise. Just when we thought there was an oversight by not having a microwave we found it in a lower cabinet. It was supplied with every item we could possibly need. We will stay again!

Summer relaxation

Perfect for two couples to relax and unwind. Up to date appliances, very clean, and equipped with all the things you need. Loved location, might have view of mountains in winter, but location was quiet and restful! We were older couples and had no problems with the one floor plan which most cabins do not have. Perfect for us. Visited local wineries, restaurants, and area sites. Lots to see and do; or just stay in and play games and enjoy the the delightfully kept home!!

Wonderful Cabin in the Woods

The cabin had the best location we have ever stayed at. Quiet mountain retreat yet only 5 minutes to the beautiful town of Clayton! The porch was enjoyed by our 2 small poodles. They loved the sounds the woods provided. Beds are very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Thank you . We will rent again for sure!

The cabin was perfect for our family of three. We loved the easy access, and quietness among the trees. The decor was inspiring and the cabin is kept well as pictured. It is centrally located for a day trip nearby or crossing the state line to NC or SC.

Great experience!

Terrific location that feels remote while being close to town. Quiet and secluded. Short drives to excellent hikes (Warwoman, Tallulah, etc.), restaurants, and other attractions. Very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
