Wonderful Stay at the Lake

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful Lake Burton house! The home had everything we could have asked for — a relaxing hot tub, a cozy fire pit, the house was filled with games, ping pong, corn hole and tons of water toys that kept everyone entertained. Renting their boat was a huge bonus and made our lake days even more memorable.The house was spotless, well-stocked, and thoughtfully set up for both fun and relaxation. Whether we were lounging on the deck, soaking in the hot tub under the stars, or cruising the lake, it was the perfect blend of adventure and peace.Can’t wait to come back — highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a 5-star lake vacation!

Better Than Expected

This was a family event, and we had family come and go along with friends. I was originally concerned because it was not directly on the lake, you had to go through the little channel. Really no issue at all and actually made it quite as compared to hearing boats run all day, we all got on the boat that I rented from them. If you want to get on the water I highly recommend renting the boat. It is cheaper to rent and its sooo convenient to going to La Pradds. They also provided air tubes for pulling and a wakeboard and skis. The boat rental is worth it if want to get on the water!! It was great and ran perfectly. We pulled up several skiers and wakeboarders. The house is great and has all that you need. Unlike a lot of other rentals, they don't lock up everything and you come into a barren place. We actually felt bad about using some of the nice things and replaced items in the pantry. The owners are great as we had one issue due to a storm, and they fixed it over the weekend. So, they are very responsive. The house, yard and boat house made plenty of room to get out throw the ball with the kids and have space away from each other while relaxing. It is 3 bedrooms and one of the rooms is huge and can sleep 7 people comfortably. Oh yes it has great game room when the periodic rain hits. The kids loved it. It is hard to recommend anything for them to change as it has so much. I guess I would say it would be nice it had one more private bedroom.

Beautiful!

This home has it all —beautiful home, beautifully furnished, and on beautiful Lake Burton. Our family loved every minute of our long weekend at the lake because the home was so well equipped to make everyone happy. Lots of space inside and out, well stocked kitchen, games and lake toys, plenty of TVs, good beds and bathrooms — this home has it all. The owner is super friendly and quickly answered every question prior to our arrival, plus one last-minute question Sunday morning about checkout. Even the neighbors were super fun and friendly! Thank you 
 we hope to come back soon.

Wonderful

Great property - very clean and comfortable. Lots to do on the property especially just relax. Hot tub, ping-pong, boat house swing etc etc. The boat rental was great and very convenient - right at the boat house. The only clarifying issue is the waterfront is a narrow canal/stream. While peaceful with lovely ducks and flowers the channel is too shallow for swimming but it is deep enough to provide boat access. So overall great house and all the family enjoyed the long relaxing weekend.

A great lake weekend

We've stayed at this property twice now. Its a wonderful place for a lake trip with friends. We stayed with another family (4 adults, 5 kids total), and everyone fit great. We spent time on the lake, played in the yard, enjoyed the hot tub, and cooked in the kitchen. The kids loved the bunk room with foosball table. Would recommend this house and Lee is a great host - we look forward to next year!

Kind and Accessible Renters/Loved the Boat!

Overall, the rental was very well-appointed. Our three kids (ages 8, 13, and 17) stayed in the bunk room and really enjoyed the games and ability to spread out. The fire pit and ping pong table outside were used and enjoyed. I needed to contact the hosts a couple of times during our stay and they were very responsive and agreeable each time. We rented the boat, which was everyone's favorite part of our stay. Having the boat really elevated our time and allowed us to enjoy all that Lake Burton has to offer. There were seven of us (three generations) on this trip, and we all enjoyed ourselves! We had plenty of room to spread out and just the right amount of beds/bathrooms. The two minor drawbacks I would mention are 1) the house itself is tucked away down what I would describe as more of a canal, rather than facing the main body or cove in the lake. It was great for fishing and very peaceful/quiet, but it didn't look very inviting for swimming. :) That being said, because we rented the boat, that was not an issue or setback for us. The second minor drawback is that there did seem to be what looked like cat or dog hair on some of the main floor upholstery. It may have been from a previous guest, but I generally look for "no pet" properties due to minor allergies in our family. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would rent this house again.

Another great week at Lake Burton

This was our second year visiting this lovely home. Very relaxing with a fully equipped home. When not on the boat, the large yard allowed for lots of frisbee, spike ball, ping pong and sunbathing. Gathering around the fire pit with our teens/young adults provided the perfect end to the day. Host very responsive and a please to work with.

Great Getaway, Fantastic host

We loved our stay! The home is beautifully appointed and has plenty of room and everything you need for a large family or friends gathering. The yard is incredible - worth booking for the yard alone! Adults loved sitting in the boat house watching the kids play on the lawn. The house is managed by the owners which makes a huge difference - they were responsive to every question, followed up immediately, and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. We rented the boat and loved spending time on the water. Our only negative was that we were just here for a long weekend. We wish we had more time. Book this - you will love it!

Nice house

Nice house with flat, huge backyard with access to Lake Burton via canal/creek. Very well furnished with toys, games, etc. Host was very responsive. Creek a little tricky/slow to navigate but worth it for lake access.

Fantastic retreat

We had such a great time here over Memorial Day weekend. The house is very nice. The owners do a great job of anticipating their guests' needs by stocking with basics including wood for the fire pit and sticks for marshmallows/smores! The location is very peaceful and tucked away down Dick's Creek w/ the ability to take the boat out to the big water. Perfect for paddle boarding, canoes, etc.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Lake Burton Oasis! The lake house is beautiful and sits directly on the water. We enjoyed the fire pit and pontoon boat rental! It was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Lexi is very sweet and a wonderful host! We are looking forward to staying at the Lake Burton Oasis again soon!
