This is the second time we've stayed, first time in a caboose and this time in the depot. The owners are so friendly and offered us a beer after we had ridden our bikes from North Bend. Will definitely return again!
We stopped here for a night while riding the Palouse/John Wayne/Iron Horse Trail from North Bend to Beverley. Everything was better than expected. The owner greeted us with cold pints which is exactly what we needed after a long day of riding! The place itself is like a museum with historical memorabila and lots of information about the building and operating of the railway. I opted for a room in the main building and was pleasantly surprised by the large size, cleanliness and extremely comfortable bed. The room was quiet and breakfast in the morning was excellent. Long story short, my only regret was planning a trip that only required one night here.
The place is really unique and definitely a place I would recommend. We really enjoyed the train themed decorations throughout. Definitely would come back in the future. Owners are accommodating and the service is great!
Outstanding place!! One of a kind, Outstanding staff, a must place for to stay for nice weekend from Seattle. I stay in one of rail cars and it's was fantastic.
This place is an absolute hidden gem!! The owners were so accomodating and full of local knowledge. I felt like I was staying at my families house. Loved it!!!
Staying in a train caboose was so fun. The owners are lovely friendly people and made a delicious breakfast. It was dark at night and great for star gazing.
Very nice for a one of a relaxing experience. All reviews are right on 9.2 I will be be back, already booked. It's a short drive from seattle. Lovely, nice, and great host's.
We had so much fun in the cabooses and the owners were so helpful and gracious. Breakfast was great. Our bed was a bit lumpy. They could use some wasp traps around the deck.
We loved our stay at the Iron Horse Bed & Breakfast. It is such a unique lodging option - how often do you get to sleep in a caboose?! We brought our bikes and rode on the adjacent Palouse to Cascades Trail, which was right next to the property. The breakfasts were outstanding, the property was very interesting from a historical perspective, and the proprietor clearly loves his job and is a wonderful host. 10/10 would stay there again, and we highly recommend it.
Loved staying in an old rail caboose! It was nicely adapted to be a comfortable cabin for our stay.
Breakfast was good with many options - it would have been nice if we could have had it a little earlier since our plans required an early start.
