The bathroom was dirty. Stains in the toilets. We were missing shampoo and wash clothes. The pool area was disgusting and had no towels. We asked the front desk multiple times for towels and they said they would bring them to us but never did. Literally had to walk back to our room cold and dripping wet.

Room wasnt ready,waited about 2 hours after check in time. Short staff in housekeeping, front desk gave us complimentary breakfast because of this but breakfast was only continental. Rooms that were booked for poolside wasnt available.

The room was not ready when we tried to check in between 5 and 6pm. We did not receive housekeeping service during our stay, even though we advised the front desk of our schedule. The room had no closet or anyplace to hang even our coats. The lighting in terrible -- harsh while being dim. We were completely dissatisfied and would never chose Wyndham Gardens again.
This is a closet at Wyndham Gardens - Westlake, OH. Some hangers but no place to hang them.

Firstly, the entire staff was superb! But unfortunately, the facility itself needs a desperate refresh. Furniture in our room was in disrepair; there was only one mirror; the phone didn't work; there were burned-out light bulbs; it was extremely dark; it needed fresh paint; and, worst of all, the towel and toilet paper fixtures in the bathroom came off the wall! The location is tops, and with a little more attention to detail during a refresh, this could be a fantastic hotel.
