Asked to check in an hour early due to needing to change for a wedding. We were told there were no rooms available. I cannot believe an hour before check in none of the rooms were ready and in that one hour, your were going to get the entire hotel ready.
I totally enjoyed my stay; it was only for an overnight visit but terrific. After being on the road for 8 hours and then stepping into the lobby and being greeted so warmly...it was just terrific! Customer service means a lot these days especially when so many ppl who work in the hotel/motel industry don't seem to care about those who need a nice place to stay and a courteous welcome. I'd give this place a 5 star however, our room (323) air control unit wasn't working properly. We were just too tired to even call down about it. I'd bet that the hotel staff would have came right up and seen to it though. We just wanted to sleep in that bed that was as comfortable as it looked! I will stay again for sure.
The room was extremely clean and fresh smelling for the entire visit. The staff members were extremely accommodating for our late check out due to unforeseen circumstances. We will definitely be back to visit if our daughter chooses to attend Delta State University.
We inspected the room before and it was in excellent condition. We were unable to stay because my wife has severe respiratory sensitivities and reacted to the perfume from a large group that was socializing in the lobby, and the air fresheners used in the room.
I was there for a conference and was only there one night. The rooms were large, clean, and very comfortable and relaxing. I just wish I could have stayed longer.
This is a wonderful place to stay. It's clean, quiet, and , caters to your needs. The staff are all very friendly and act in a professional manner. The free breakfast is fabulous! And served in a nice dinning area.
Only stayed one night but it was a very nice stay. The hotel decor is up to date, very clean and well kept. The staff were cordial, professional ,and eager to serve. The complimentary breakfast was great , not just thrown together and thrown out there.Someone really put some heart into it,
Staff were fantastic. Always friendly, always willing to help.
the only issue with the stay was the problem with the door locks. Had to have my door lock (not the key) but the actual lock re-programmed 5 times in 3 days. Made for a nuisance.
The hotel was clean and the food was decent. The staff was very friendly. I was especially pleased with how nice the man at the front desk was. There was plenty of parking, which is important to me because I was pulling a trailer. The only issue I had was with the closet door/mirror not staying closed. I told the front desk about it when we left and he said they would take care of it.
We were very comfortable at the Hampton Inn in Cleveland, MS. Our room was clean and the bed was very good. We enjoyed the full breakfast that was included in our stay. We would definitely stay there again.
I travel to Cleveland on business occasionally, and stay here every time.
It is a little pricey for a Hampton Inn in a small town, but that is probably due to supply and demand. The place is secure, and meets all the needs of business travel. One drawback: it fronts on a busy highway with a great deal of heavy truck traffic. When you make your reservations or check in, tell them you want to be on the side of the hotel that is away from the highway. It will reduce the noise tremendously. The advantage to its location is that it is near several popular restaurants in town, including a great little pizza place called Lost Dog.
While I was in Cleveland to attend my college Reunion at DSU, my husband and I enjoyed a large room with space for visiting with college friends. It was so nice to have a place for friends to gather prior to going to the campus for large group meetings. The time we gathered in our room gave us an opportunity to visit one on one with friends we hadn't seen in years.
