Originally booked here due to looking upscale from pictures, while also being pet friendly and having a fenced in yard (which is not accurate) but was able to find a pet sitter. Communication was great until things started going wrong. Upon our arrival and getting settled in, we found carpenter/flying ants coming through the corner of the baseboard in the master and crawling on our belongings. Sending pictures to the host and taking video (couldnât send through VRBO, and after telling host, they never asked for the videos) all host had to say was âthanks for the heads up. Keep doors and windows closed to avoid moreâ. There was no regularity to the temperature between upstairs and downstairs. You could only have downstairs being comfortable and upstairs feeling like a sauna, or downstairs being 54 degrees and it being like an 80 degree humid day - making it difficult to sleep. In addition I had to use my personal hotspot as the tv could not connect to the internet. When bringing these to the host the following morning seeing if there were any solutions, it was hours before we received a response, to which the temperature was completely ignored, and it was about 23-24 hours after the ant issue that they finally asked to have someone come over and spray for them. My husband and I were celebrating his birthday and 1 year remission from a major health scare and this location was a disappointment. We would not recommend staying here.
