If you really want to get away from it all, THIS IS IT! This rustic little cabin was exactly what my husband and I needed. Filled with just the necessities, we were able to escape our hectic busy life and enjoy the quiet and peace of nature away from it all. We especially enjoyed late mornings on the porch, listening to the birds and buzzing insects, smelling the sweet fresh air and reading and laughing together. The bed is slept very well, cute little kitchen with all you need for a quick meal. Perfectly located between small towns and state parks anything you could want, or need is just few minutes away. The host was very responsive to all questions and offered great suggestions for local fun.
It was an experience. Foundation issues, animals living in the walls, fireplace didnt work properly, hvac had issues. Its a good retreat as its far away from everything but conditions were not ideal. Breaker box and window in the bathroom was weird and the bathroom heater was high enough to not be able to use half the towel rack.
This cozy cabin has a warm and welcoming feeling as soon as you drive up. Ms. Jenny has made sure it has everything you need for a nice and relaxing stay. Itâs like having your own private suite in a cabin setting, complete with a gas log fireplace. You can also enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch and see a beautiful sunrise. It was just right for me!
We just spent the weekend at the cabin and it is beautiful â€ïž. It's quiet, private, and only 5-10 minutes away from Table Rock Park. We hiked the Table Rock Trail and made it to Governor Rock!! What a breathtaking view. The only thing I would suggest is bringing an exact assessment of clothing ( no washer/dryer) option, also, grab dinner before you head in to the cabin for the night because it is about 15-18 mins to the closest restaurant. They have a few ma and pa pizza places and Mexican food in town. Overall, it's a beautiful and peaceful cabin for 2. P.S. If you sleep with a fan ( like me) make sure to pack a little portable one. We would definitely visit again. âââââ
This is the second time I've stayed in the cabin, and this time was just as good as the first. An excellent weekend getaway for a couple. Close enough to everything you need, but far enough away to enjoy yourselves without any unwanted company. Had an great time, again. Cabin was clean, owner was easy to get along with, and prompt answering any questions we had.
The cabin was everything described and Jenny was great. We had a great time while there. For those interested, Table Rock state park is 5 mins away, and Ceasars Head state park is about 15 mins or so. There are several waterfalls around, and Lake Jocassee is about 30 mins away. Truly a great location, and a great place to get away from it all.
This cozy rustic little cabin was prefect for a getaway. Ms. Jenny made the check-in easy and the stay comfortable. The cabin is very cute, clean, and cozy with a stone fireplace that added a nice touch to the cabin. The location of the cabin was very convenient to several hiking trails. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.
This is the sweetest little rustic cabin in the woods and perfect for a weekend of mountain unplugging and getting back to nature. Highly recommend for location convenience, incredible hosts and a true mountain cabin experience.
Easy check-in. Very clean. Beautiful surroundings. Cendy's Restaurant right down the road had a great little breakfast. Happy to stay again sometime. Highly recommended. Just as described.
