If you arrive at the hotel and no one is on reception there is a telephone to announce your arrival asking what you want. It is voice activated and does not recognise the term “check in.” Apparently you need to include the word “manager” to get a response. It’s easier just to ask at the bar.
We arrived shortly after 8pm in time to order a meal before the kitchen closed at 9pm as published. After buying a drink we were told the kitchen had already closed at 8pm and wouldn’t be open for breakfast either. We were not notified of this in advance.
We went out locally to find a meal.
We stayed in room 14. There is only 150mm clearance between the foot of the bed and the wall which is the route to the bathroom.
There was mold on the bathroom walls and ceiling. The bath was rusty around the plug hole. In general the maintenance of the building looked tired.
Not a great experience but the bed was comfortable.

Short overnight stay. Room ok, clean. Lift was not working so had to carry our luggage up 1 flight of stairs but a lad from reception did carry the heaviest one up. Has a bar / restaurant but it only opens at 10am so it’s not possible to get breakfast early.

Nicely located with ample parking. The only issue was the free WiFi requiring you to enter your personal information like name and date of birth.

Relaxed
The room was small and the bed was big so it felt a bit cramped the bathroom was a bit dated and needed a bit of tlc but overall it was a cheap room that suits the purpose
This hotel was not good. The walls were dirty and had gouges out of them. The lamp shade next to the bed was split at the seam and the ceiling light had no cover. The toilet seat was worn through. The smell of food from the restaurant filled the room also, there was someone smoking weed, don't know if it was next door or outside but it was stinking. I left my Apple Watch charger in the room and they refused to return it to me even though I offered to pay for the postage! This hotel is horrible. I know you get what you pay for but a lick of paint costs nothing - it was horrible.
