Very remote location and the town doesn't have much to offer in regards to dining and entertainment, but we were visiting the prison, so the hotel was conveniently located right down the street, minutes away. The hotel offered great amenities- pool, gym, breakfast dining room and a small bar. The property was well kept, clean and updated. The staff was really friendly and provided great customer service. Overall we were very pleased and would stay again.

A bit of a drive from I-5, but clean property. Nothing in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, but fairly close drive to limited selection of restaurants. Hey, it's Coalinga; so just a rest stop to get between Norcal and Socal.

The room was great, and the premises are all clean. It was really sad that the breakfast was the same every day with biscuits and gravy, an egg choice, and a sausage choice. Only one side of the toaster worked. The cleaning ladies were spectacular and very kind. They messed up my reservation so I had to see if they could accommodate me for an extra day. The update that I put into Expedia was given to the hotel, but when I was checked in the lady checked me in for the original, and not the updated version of my hotel day, which caused a little bit of trouble. However, it was rectified, but the cost of the room was more expensive.

Checked into room and strong odor was so offensive we requested a different room. Were told only other room available was on second floor. They failed to tell us it was in an open space above the bar where 5 very loud men were drinking. We hoped the noise would end once bar closed, but it was replaced with the noise of a screaming baby in an adjacent room! In addition, we asked for recommendation for a restaurant and were sent to one that happened to be closed every week on that day. By the time we discovered that, it was too late to find a different restaurant. When we mentioned the inconveniences when we checked out, we were offered a bottle of soda or water as compensation.
