The property is well taken care of even though it's dated. Very friendly service even though we checked in after hours. However, the town has an overwhelming smell of manure.
City smelled like a feed lot when we were there, but this little hotel was a breath of fresh air! Our room was super clean, staff was friendly, bed was comfortable. Only downside I could see was the rooms aren't very sound proof, so we ended up listening to our neighbors TV at night. But I will definitely recommend it and I plan on going back when I'm in the area!
Was literally there for five minutes and it was dirty, not cleaned properly, one of the cabinets was falling down and there was a hole in the wall. I could not get a hold of anyone at the front desk. I contacted Expedia right away and took my four children and left at 2:30 at night because it was disgusting and I could not stay there and book a room down the road at the sleep in hotel. Iâve contacted the property three or four times requesting a refund and Expedia and no one is helping me.
Liked the proximity of the vehicle parking to the room door which made it very easy to load and unload luggage. Given the size of the room, the room contents were placed and spaced well.
Good location for a stay traveling the I-70 corridor. The motel is far off the highway, and located in a terrific little town. We ate at the local hot spot, within walking distance. The food and service was very good. This is a good option for an overnight stay on a road trip.
The outside looks a lot more ran down than the inside. The rooms are fairly updated and clean. However the photos in the listing are NOT the rooms you will be staying in. Rooms are clean. There's no options for breakfast and there didn't even seem to be anyone in the office when we left. So hopefully you don't need anything while you're there.
