The Perfect Getaway!!

This place was everything we wanted and more. It was the perfect surprise for my kids and family to close out summer. The beach was at our footsteps, Food and good music was just at the end of block we wanted to stay longer. Although we are from Colonial Beach I plan on staying again in future. Oh! The Bank vault was a hit!!

Great interior pictures and location

Very comfortable for 6 senior ladies with health issues except only 1 bathroom downstairs for 3 bedrooms; 2 upstairs. Bathrooms need hooks for towels. Bedrooms need mirrors, drawers and window shades. TV was a bit small for great room size. Refrig good but Icemaker was froze up. Need light bulb table lamp in Master. Great location and Wi-fi good. Nowhere to social outside. Will recommend to others.

The property was nice and clean with space for everyone. There was plenty of parking for our three vehicles. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. It was easy to assess the lockbox and get the key. Lots of things to do within walking distance - and the beach was a five minute walk away! Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed the house. It was beautifully decorated and a great location. Walking distance to the beach and shops/restaurants was perfect. I would recommend the owners install a more secure lock on the front and back doors. We travelled with toddlers and small children and it was very unsafe because they could easily open the door. So we blocked it with baby gates and chairs as best as we could. But it was a source of stress for parents. Would also recommend adding actual curtains instead of sheers to the kitchen and living room. At night we felt like we had no privacy. The floors and counters were dirty when we arrived and everyone who walked barefoot had dirty feet. The washer and dryer and amenities were wonderful and the check in/out was easy. The beds were very comfortable and rooms were large, which was nice for families so we didn’t feel cramped. I would recommend the owners store some baby gates and toddler latches for the doors in the closet so families with small children can use them if staying there. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, Cozy, & Accommodating!

Myself, my partner, my 7 family members and our 2 pups stayed here for our annual vacation to Colonial Beach & our experience was nothing short of spectacular. The host is super fast at replying, made our check in process easy, and was super hospitable. They even accommodated our last minute wish to check in early! The ONLY thing I can think of that can be improved is the level of cleanliness. Everything was beautiful and clean except for areas underneath the rugs, which were covered with sand and dirt. Other than that, our stay was enjoyable and we will definitely consider booking here again for years to come! I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to book!

I’ll start by Thanking the host’s of the property. There was an open line of communication right out the gate and pictures didn’t do this listing justice. Size of property was perfect for our Family of 12, kitchen was fully stocked, and location was very convenient. Best part of our stay

A great weekend away!

We rented this house to host Easter weekend with our family. There was so much space for everyone, we had 10 people and it never felt crowded. The house is in great condition and we were able to cook a big dinner for everyone in the large kitchen. Check in/check out was simple. A very short walk to the beach and pier. This was our first time to colonial beach and we found it charming and imagine it will be more lively during the summer.

Great Location

Just 1 block from sand beach and easy walk to fishing pier. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds. Clean and updated property. Not much privacy from outside in living/dinning/kitchen areas but ample room for large family groups. No outdoor amenities. Surely would stay again.

Nice little getaway

Very clean and pleasant property in a quiet neighborhood. Kitchen accessories well stocked for most needs. Decor is very tasteful. Nice open living space for larger groups. We chose the house for its off-street parking amenity, but were notified last minute that we would not be allowed to park in the driveway during our stay due to paving.
