My husband and adult son stayed for 2 nights. It was a perfect set up for us. The property was clean and well equipped. We didn't realize it at the time but were happy to see the property was at the base entrance to the Pike's Peak Highway. The setting was nice, as promised it was creekside. The only drawback was we could still hear road noise from Hwy 24. It was not a deal breaker in anyway, but took a bit a way from the creek.
We enjoyed our overnight stay. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. The slight downside was traffic noise when sitting outside to relax, but we couldnât hear any traffic noise from inside. The wine and beer was a very nice touch and we appreciated the gesture.
Nice property, clean and quiet. Well equipped home and owner communicated well with checkin procedures. Nice booklet of suggestions of places to go and see in surrounding area. Very close to manitou springs.
We had a great time. The cabin was at the foot of pikes peak road and the garden of the gods was just up the road. Yes, we will stay again when in the area, if the peak and garden are on your list, I definitely recommend staying here. The neighbors are quite friendly they would wave when we buy.
We had a wonderful time at the cottage. The perfect in between location for our trips into Manitou Springs and Woodland Park. Could not have treated us any better.
I loved the peaceful atmosphere surrounding this place. We had our little dog with us and although she was apprehensive at first she loved exploring the outside (on her leash and with mom of course). Lots of humming birds flying overhead as well.
This is a nice cabin halfway between Woodland Park and Manitou Springs. Very easy access to 24 and you are only a few minutes away from everything. This was my first VRBO rental and Marc was a great host. The cabin is very simple but clean, well stocked and everything worked. We especially liked the bottle of wine and the updated tv.We really enjoyed our time. No complaints.
We enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean and definitely worked for our needs for the weekend. The owner clearly communicated how to get to/access the property. The interior of the property was nice and had everything we needed. It was a little difficult to access the property since there were cars parked in the road on the way in (not the owner's fault). The location was also not quite as scenic as the pictures looked online. But the owner left a bottle of wine for us, which we really appreciated, and it definitely served our hope for a quick weekend away.
An immersive and true Coloradan experiance! If you want to be secluded, have privacy and Panoramic views of CO, this is the spot. Cozy cabin vibes, fun for my family including my toddler. A game closet, Colorado made wine & beer provided by our wonderful host. Instructions to get here were easy and communication spot on. I love that thereâs a guide with local suggestions and need to know objectives about the VRBO. Amazing, will be staying again when weâre in town. Our group rating, 12/10! 2 extra points for the hospitality and kindness from our host!
Computer literacy essential to access complex website !
Surprised to discover how many bases were covered by the owner ⊠we submitted our recommendations for improvements/ repairs to make the facility safer and tighter with âall the ducks in a rowâ so to speak for future guests! We would stay again if the need arises that we were doing a similar conference situation!
Originally my fiance and I were going to stay here but due to visa issues was unable to attend, so I ended up going with a friend - the stay was wonderful. 10/10 would come back again!
The house just east of us has cars in our way, 3 different times. One time I had to leave and come back because the vehicle was an animal control car, coming to ( I believe) give some kind of citation on the dogs. Honestly everything else was great.
