Beautiful, recently-updated basement apartment with a private patio, kitchenette, and cozy living space with a 55" smart tv! Our space has a separate bedroom with a queen sized bed, as well as a couch in the living room that can double as a pull-out bed. It is centrally located as well, and is within walking distance of a coffee shop and park, as well as 25 minutes or less away from places such as USAFA, Garden of the Gods, Peterson Air Force Base, and the Colorado Springs airport!

We have guests that live upstairs above the VRBO, so you may hear them from time to time. Loud talking, music, and other noises can be heard in other parts of the house, so we ask everyone to please keep noise down during quiet hours of 9PM to 8AM (:

Great and Cool!

Everything about the property was as advertised. The only issue we had was with temperature control. It was a hot day and night in Colorado Springs, and the AC was on high. Being in the basement where the AC wasn't needed as much but couldn't be adjusted made the apartment cooler that we would have liked. So, in summary, a very cool place to be on a hot day!

Nice, clean property. Upstairs guests were a little loud during day but quiet at night. Only thing was initially thought we would have upstairs and downstairs for space because of the pictures listed but could have misunderstood. But overall, very good review.

Problem: Poorly lighted rough path, fall risk. Suggestion: More lighting, smooth path. Problem: Very loud walking above bedroom in a.m. Suggestion: As in Europe, India, Japan, Leave shoes by front door, or install carpet. Problem: Very loud laughter and almost yelling conversation until midnight upstairs. Suggestion: Quiet time after 9:30 or so. Problem: Difficult locks for short people. Suggestion: User friendly locking system. Problem: No provision for cooking. Suggestion: Reveal this in listing. Thank you.

Colorado Springs Apartment Review

My friend and I had a great time staying at Michael’s vacation home. It’s very cute and quaint. The bed was comfortable and living room area was nice. It was about 20 minutes from most places (downtown, Garden of the Gods, etc.). The neighborhood was nice and safe. Only a few things to beware of: 1. The rental has sliding doors, so unfortunately the only way to lock the place from the inside is with a piece of plywood. So as two young women, we were a little apprehensive about that. The lock for the gate does not work from inside the backyard. 2. Unlocking the sliding doors from the outside was quite difficult at times. 3. There were also dirty towels in the bathroom upon arrival. Again, aside from these complaints, it was a great place to stay!
